Amazon AU source from Amazon US via Amazon Globlal store. The the stock is identical whether AU or US and is still covered under Australian Consumer Law, meaning warranty is identical. I have 2 of these units, one via Amazon AU/Global/US and one local via Umart. Trust me, they are identical in every which way. Fantastic and fast on a USB3.1 port.

Failed to pricematch Newegg at officeworks, the sales rep says:
1. the site doesnt have .au at the end.
2. they only have it in black so it must be identical, after he checked it was surely blue for the 500gb.
3. it doesnt say what warranty there is.
4. they cant pricematch international sites.
5. told me to check if other stores have it this price? (What?)
Think it depends a lot on who you speak to and how busy they are, the girl I spoke to was friendly but a bit rushed and didn't blink twice at price matching Newegg ~6 months ago.
