It's targeted. I've got 5200 points with a $90 spend.
8400 for $140 spend
4800 points for $120 spend. bugger that.
4800 points equals $24, if you have it set to give discounts. So from $120, that's 20% discount. Sounds excellent to me!
Can't you stock up on non-perishable items? Preferably ones that are on special this week, or ones that are never discounted, like Coles generic products.
normally yes, but for someone who likes to shop at Aldi and Woolworths (for half price sales) and has two fly buys cards, there is no value in this for me with all things considered.

Has anyone tried gaming the flybuys offers? It looks like the required spend is more than I would normally spend in a week, but less than my highest-ever spend.
Perhaps the best strategy is to only put 2/3rds of your purchases through on flybuys, except on the weeks when there is a special offer like this. Anyone already doing this?
The offer for me is 6800 points if I spend $170. I would normally spend $130 to $140.
Its worked out on averages so do a few small spends too.
Or get two cards and alternate.
I have thought about that. Are your cards in different names, and with different addresses? Surely flybuys would try to identify duplicates, and maybe not send offers to them?
I think we can do Opal top up to fulfil this offer.

My offer was spend $50, so i topped up $50 with gift card. So i have topped up over $50 & by credit card?
@airpoe: If you activated the offer and spent $50 on Opal and the qualifying spend was $50 and you scanned your flybuys card, the points should have been credited

We got 11000 points for 160 spend a month ago, after that they've given us unsatisfying ones where they want us to spend $160 each week over 4 weeks for$50 return. I just bought Woolies $200 for$240 worth shop so we are leaving Coles alone for a few weeks until it improves.
Woolworths has to spend the whole lot in one go, that is too much.
I need to do shopping every week so Coles is a good optionI get these emails every two weeks with the bonus points sometimes more. Probably use it once a month. Usually 5000 if you spend $120-$140. Now I don't even get an email when it's supposed to be huge points!? Cmon Flybuys gimme some love.
I missed out as well; I had a 2000 points for $80 spend that ended Tuesday after about five consecutive 2000 points for $90 that I didn't take advantage of
