    Seriously considering this but with all the cordless handheld machines from Dyson, I’m feeling a bit conflicted. What made you choose this over the myriad of choices - considering this is one of the pricier options?

      Do you have floorboards and need the soft roller head? If not, you don’t need the absolute.

      Do you have anything else? The motorised head will do the trick.

      Don’t want motorised head? Slim etc.

      I have a V7 and I don't find it effective compared to wired Dysons but it does the job when I'm lazy ( I actually enjoy vacuuming after using cordless lol).

      Assuming the V8 is a little more powerful, It'll be worth it and I think this is a great price also.

    Also if you have old machine which is retired you get 25% off retail.

      Haha, yeah, unfortunately we don't have an old Dyson to swap. But this is why I'm keen on getting one - it lasts at least 5, and then you can get 25% off the next time you replace it
