Sounds like you got unlucky mate. I take up these offers from BigW as stocking fillers and never had an issue. For $6 I know I'm not getting italian porcelain or something, but never had an issue with breakages etc. Microwave, dishwasher, kids using them… still going good. I'll never pay $20 though! But for $6 they are worth it. Give them another shot.
Same here, had heaps of them, all great quality…
Bought 2 a year ago, but did a C+C (not delivered). No chips, using maybe twice a week in microwave to heat up water. All good with mine.
The old ones in the past were great. Didn't have a problem. Maybe they've changed mugs to something crappier.

Always managed to get them done in about 30mins at Kmart too, if you need that last minute office secret santa.
Possibly the worst site to navigate I've ever used….gave up in the end.Hopeless.
Quality warning on this. Last time I took up this offer, the mug came smashed (which was interesting as the box wasn't damaged at all). Big W offered a replacement immediately but didn't send it. I contacted them 2 weeks later with a 'where is it?' before they sent it out.
The mug lasted about 3 used before the handle just fell off the mug.
Maybe I just got unlucky but it was enough for me to avoid them in the future.
