Kogan 50" 4K LED TV (Series 8 JU8000) for $379 + delivery. It is a deal from Dick Smith Deal Frenzy. I'm not sure how long it will last. The price is quite good IMHO. Cheers.

Well… no one is stopping you.
How does it monitor your computer as it is not a smart tv?
My neck hurts thinking about it.
Not likely. Without checking the specs, cheap 4k tv's do a thing called 4:2:2 compression. This means some colour channels are compressed more than normal, instead of showing a raw signal.
Combine with AMEX offer to get $20 back
Would that work on the DSE site ?
$134 postage to Darwin, lol
Postage gets cheaper the more you buy
Just organise a group purchase in Darwin :)
I got this TV from the last sale, mostly gaming and movie, give it a solid 5/7
Any input lag at all?
Didn't notice any
So slightly better than 7/10.
How much did you pay for it?Also around 380
$386 Inc delivery
I am keeping an eye on TVs as ours is on the way out. I was curious what made you deduct the 2 points?
I get that reference. +1
Ok. So I learned something new today.
The dark night was directed by Nistopher Colan.
Which is slightly better than fight club which is given a perfect score.
Mind blownYou are now a professional internet person. You've passed the initiation now
Any tearing?
Bought one of these a couple months ago. It's pretty good as a TV, great as a monitor in 4K. Fine for gaming. Obviously the sound is garbage, you need a soundbar or speakers.
Mine had a dodgy panel with a vertical line of pixels that shifted when displaying certain colours. Kogan agreed to repair under warranty, but their repair process is painfully slow (and their communication sucks through email, does anyone have a phone number for Kogan?).
In the future I'll be paying the extra to deal with a Bricks and Mortar retailer. Still a very nice TV for the price, warranty issues aside.
You could literally buy 10 of these for less than 5 grand, and make an eyefinity theatre wall.
I remember my first 42" 720p tv which i was so proud to get for $999
Less bargain-y than last time, which is preventing me from pulling the trigger. Probably a good thing though as I don't really need another telly.
ugh, the one you linked costs more…
The one I linked included delivery. This deal doesn't..
TVs? Wait for black friday
Computer monitor maybe?
