I bought one of these a couple of months back and quickly returned it the next day. It is sooo heavy, the push button start didnt work each time so when you let go of the 'Self Propelled' bar the engine turns off so i had to pull start it each time. You dont realise how often you need to let go of it until you have one, silly design. The catcher also wouldnt latch properly so all the dirt would fly out straight into my face.
Was glad it had a couple of problems that meant an easy return as it was the biggest buyers remorse i have had in a while….

I bought the 6 burner bbq from them last september for 499.
When i was walking in the store this morning, saw the price to be marked down at 399!!
Question: would i have any issue if u buy another one.. then return again tomorrow the unoppened one using the receipt when i purchases from sept?
This will make me cover up the price discount of $100..
Any guys see possible issue if i do it on the same store?
ALDI have a 60 day change of mind return, you want to return an unopened / non-faulty item more than a year after you bought it ("last September") just because you found it's cheaper now. Why did you buy it at full price if you weren't going to use it at all?
You might find that the 6 burner BBQ from last year and the 6 burner BBQ from this year have different product codes, meaning your scheme won't work.
Check your receipt and packaging to see how long the warranty is, if it's a 12 month warranty then you're not going to be able to return it at all.

Bought the item just last september. They have it discounted (apparently) at 499.. we have used the item up till now.
But i saw the exact same item today.. cheaper by $100.
I am thinking of “buying” another one.
Returning it say next week using the september receipt that i already have..
By this way i could “recover” the $100 price drop..
Makes clearer now? Just wanted to be sure if most have tried this without an issue..

Normally I would say go right ahead, but considering the type of item in question, it would be a pretty low thing to do just to recover some change.

Then you just return the newly bought one with new receipt.
By last September, do you mean Sept 2018? If yes then have chat with the store, They issued me a refund for my lawn mover. The store manager refunded the original price and I had to buy it again at the reduced price without actually taking the lawn mower back to store.
Anyone know if the mower is available around Doncaster area?
