  • Hardly good price for Google Home and GH Mini as they were/are very much cheaper in past sale, and Home Mini is given at almost every dang promotion.

  • Amazon offered me an Echo Dot when subscribing to Audible. Total cost is $16.45 after cancelling the subscription.

    • I believe this offer is reserved for Prime members.. or targeted Prime members

  • JB Hifi has echo dot for $59 for a while now

  • Is it really worth buying one?

    • Depends if you have a need. For me "morning" phrase tells me the weather and starts the music in the bedroom and ensuite. "TV off" turns off all devices via Harmony. Just depends on you.

    • We have three Google Homes, including a Max, and we use them constantly. We use voice control for Spotify, Harmony, asking about weather, maintaining a shopping list, playing animal sounds for the kid, reminders, etc. There are cheaper existing solutions to most of these things, but you're just paying for the convenience.

    • Google for chromecasting and playing Google music/youtube, Alexa for controlling Sony TV and Talking to FitBit
