Been waiting for this sale. Bought one from the last sale through OW price match (thanks to OzB) and the softclick is such a step up from the Anywhere 3, I have to get another. Thank you very much OP.

3S has been my daily driver for almost three years now. Have used every degeneration of Anywhere and MX, and this one has lasted longer than any if the others. Silent click is a feature I never knew I needed.

      • +1

        Degeneration?

      • Yes, silent clicks are handy when viewing corn* ;) in the middle of the night and you don’t want the clicks to annoy/alarm the girlfriend

    • Does this version of the Anywhere MX still have the sideways click on the scroll wheel?

      • While I don't know the answer, I'm pretty sure its a no. But you can bind it so you can hold one of the thumb buttons then use the scroll wheel to scroll sideways, which is actually a better way once you get used to it.

Good price although FYI white and pink were under $70 before xmas https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879270

    • +2

That's true but needed Student Beans access to obtain the deal.
This one is for everyone (with/without Prime) and all can price beat at Officeworks (unlike the eBay/Student Beans deal).

  • This works with the logo bolt receiver right?

    • +1

      Correct.
Check the compatibility tab on Logitech's product page
      https://www.logitech.com/en-in/products/mice/mx-anywhere-3s.…

    • BT works fine too, but I’ve found that interference from Universal Control on my MacBook Air causes lag, which can only be solved with the Bolt receiver, or disabling Universal Control altogether.

If only Logitech would focus their efforts on developing USB-C receivers instead of cramming AI into their software.

  • :( I purchased this for $95 two days ago - sigh…

    • I just ordered it from umart for $99 last night :(

  • 10m/33 feet away from your computer

This is really useful for people with 100" monitors and good eyesight.

    • how's your eyesight?

    • They’re just citing the standard range of Class 2 BT transmitters, which is what Bolt and BT use.

TBH it’s not a completely unusual situation when you consider teachers and presenters.

Love it! I got the 3 first, but the right-click went way too sensitive two weeks after the pathetic one-year warranty. I hit up Logitech support, and guess what, they sent me a 3S.

The silent click is way better!

So small for me I think
For those who want bigger business mouse, try m720

    • Agree - My partner uses this and she loves it! But I found these too small and use the MX Master 3s now.

      • Would the Mx Master happen to have silent click as well?

        • +1

Yes the "MX Master 3s" does! I think maybe the "MX Master 3" does not?

  • OP,

Re: "Long-Lasting Battery Life: Up to 18-month battery life with an energy-efficient auto sleep feature, so you can go longer between battery changes "

I thought this MX Anywhere 3S mouse was a rechargeable device via a USB C cable? I think the description may be for another mouse perhaps?

Also, how much are Logi Bolt USB receivers?

    • Good pick up - that was copy and pasted from Amazon's description on the product page, obviously not correct.

Logi Bolt USB receiver current discounted at Amazon for $18.99
      https://www.amazon.com.au/Logitech-LOGI-Bolt-USB-Receiver/dp…

Supposedly lowest Amazon directly has sold it for (according to Camels), but likely you can find it elsewhere for cheaper, including getting Officeworks to price beat Amazon again for the double up!

Thanks for the update on the Logi Bolt,👍

Thanks for the info on the bolt receiver. Just tried price beating at OW and because it’s sold by dealmasters through Amazon, they can’t honour it unfortunately. I will get one through Amazon. Thanks again!

  • I wish this had a left-handed version.

I modded my Anywhere 2 to put the thumb buttons on the opposite side and fix the absurd scroll wheel to actually click the MMB; works great but not something for the faint-hearted given the space constraints inside

  • +2

This mouse is fantastic if you are looking for a compact mouse. Feels great and works great.

I returned mine, purely because I wanted a bigger one (went for the MX Master 3S).

Thanks for this. Got JB to price match over the chat function, very quick and painless! Bezos doesn't get my money!

  • Hey does Officeworks price match amazon?

    • They sure do, as it qualifies for free shipping

  • Friggin amazing mouse. I can’t work without it. MacBook user.

    • +1

I just bought one price matched at office works. What's the big deal? Just like a normal mouse but coming from MX Master 3S is feels too small :(

      • It's portable and meant to be small.

Side buttons, multi channel, speed scroll wheel, works on glass, USB-C charging, all these combine makes it special, there is no other.

        • Have used it for hours now and I'm starting to get use to the small size. But I do agree, it's a great mouse, no complaints from me

  • Temped to upgrade to this (from Anywhere 2 purchased in 2016) just for USB-C charging, and silent click.

Note: Anywhere 3S is Bolt compatible but doesn't come with a Bolt receiver across the board. Unlike MX 3S, Windows version comes with a Bolt receiver, Mac version without, but otherwise the same mouse.

  • Ive had the Anywhere 3 for a couple of years and after about 18 months the left click became super sensitive, ghost clicks, impossible to click and hold (i.e. dragging something, highlighting something), apparently a really common problem. Saw some people on reddit complaining about the Anywhere 3s having the same problem, so be mindful of that.
