Now waiting for a 40-50% sale on an item that I probably don’t need just to use the Amex offer.

    Wondering anything good to buy?

    • These bluetooth trackers I find useful:-

      https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/trackr-pixel-bluetooth-tracker-…

I bought mine from Target, however I would have used this code instead had I the opportunity.

      • Aren't they similar to the ones mentioned here for $2.57 each on Aliexpress?

What do you use them for?

        • All Bluetooth trackers are not the same. I've owned the cheaper ones and now use tiles.

Tiles are not only way more reloable, they integrate with Google home.

Nothing quite like when you are leaving home and can't find your keys

"OK google, use tile to find my keys"

          • @Thatbargainhunter: So not really much use if you want to track something outside your house or property as Bluetooth has a very short range.

            • @WatchNerd: Not at all. Those require GPS and a Sim card. And they are pretty chubky with clunky software.

            • @WatchNerd: Yea I find these pretty useless outside the house as you need to rely on other people usinng the app + bt nearby to track.

      • Did they get the dimensions and weight wrong… 12x14x3cm… 200grams… not somethign you'd want to put on your key ring

The official site show its tiny at 4grams

        https://secure.thetrackr.com/products/online-pixel-5-pack

edit nvm, they're most likely talking about the package it comes in… bad advertising

    Thanks man, I'll use this!
Don't forget to create a new Kogan account for an additional -$10

    • +2

    • Do you just sign up or use a special link?

    Can we buy GC?

    • It seems like GC is on a different domain…

Anyone worked out how to split a transaction? Eg using 2 Amex cards to pay for a $200 item from kogan online

    • Buy gift cards? (yes I'm aware they're technically excluded)

      • Does anyone try buying gift cards before?

  • +1

On time for my new 365 days Sim card expiry in Dec.

Don't forget the AMEX small shop spend $20 get back $10 up to 5 times in November. Register now.

    • +1

Did you just remind people or is that has some connection with this deal?

      • +1

Went to my amex account due to this deal and saw i had forgotten about the small shop deal. Suggesting others should also check this while activating this deal. Hence the connection. Both are AMEX statement credits as per deal title.

    • +2

I remembered, but what does it have to do with this deal?

      • Can you use shop small and the Kogan $20 off deal?

        • +4

When was the last time you saw a Kogan brick and mortar store?

          • @ronnknee: 3 hours ago, I dreamed about one. It was amazing and I wish I could to back!

          • @ronnknee: Shop Small isn't listed to brick and mortar stores. Eg you can buy reusable coffee cupfrom the Keepcup online store listed on the Shop Small website.

      • +1

Some people may confused thinking that two are related ie can be stacked

        • Kogan is not an AMEX small shop.

    • Hey guys, don't forget to breathe today.

dont forget to check ozb every 10 mins!

        And well deserved bathroom break!

The "go to deal" button is already a manual link.
When a manual link exists, forumninja always posts it!

      • +4

Different links, different purpose. This one is better for macros and multiple card registrations. Not trying to steal forumninja's thunder.

        • +4

I will post both next time.

  • any recommendation?

    • +1

      I would buy a watch.

Stand mixer is what mine is going towards

A reminder to CBA Amex card holders, all Amex cards to be cancelled as of midnight tonight.

    • +4

Offer T&Cs says: CommBank American Express Cards are not eligible for this offer.

      • +3

It's a general advisory whilst we are on the topic.

        • another possible confusion has just been created….

    • +2

And now CBA credit cards have become the worst cards out of the big 4.

    • Huh? No wonder i cant register my cba amex

I had no idea about this!?

      • I had no idea about this!?

Yes, last of the big 4 to cancel their AMEX cards (due to new RBA regulations on fees which make AMEX unprofitable for the banks).

can we buy iphone with split payment?

    • +1

Yeah sure. When you figure this out please let us know.

    • How many cards you got?

    • I'm not sure if this would work, just throwing ideas out there. YMMV.

Buy some stuff, then cancel order for store credit. Buy more stuff, and cancel for more store credit. Repeat.

But pretty sure you'd been caught if you're doing it enough for an iPhone. :D

  • Thanks OP. Registered

  • The item I had an eye on is $20 dearer than before (which was already $10 dearer than when I should have pulled the trigger). What a coincidence.

  • Thanks OP. Just got an email earlier from Kogan and noticed this curved monitor..

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-30-curved-219-ultrawide-7…

Not overly bad, just in time for this deal

    Ooops wrong thread!! LOL

  • Does anyone get the error message when paying by Amex on the Kogan website:

Sorry, your payment was not successful. Please check your payment details and try again.

I've tried 2 amex cards with no success and raised a helpdesk ticket with Kogan. Confirmed with Amex that the two cards are operational and had some recent transactions at supermarkets and online.

    • did you get this resolved? I am getting the same issue

      • +1

Still nothing yet - only advice was to clear the browser cache and enable pop ups and retry again.

Looks like they are now declining Amex transactions? As I tried with a new Kogan account - same issue.

        • similar situation. called amex and there is no issues with my card. No reply from Kogan.

          • @kRaYziE666: Update from Kogan support. They say they do accept american express but in this case they recommend to use a different card or Paypal.

  • I was thinking of buying the $100 gift card and then using it later.
Has anyone got their cashback from buying a gift card yet?

    • Wondering if you tried yet ?
