I went to this restaurant in Feb 2018 after hearing that it's one of the best buffets in Sydney. I must say that I found the quality disappointing. In terms of the cold seafood selection, there were plenty of oysters, prawns and small blue swimmer crabs but that was about it - no mud crabs or lobsters or balmain bugs. The cooked food was really mediocre. If you are a big eater and are going for quantity, you may get your money's worth at this price. Otherwise I'd save your money for better voucher deals.

    • Who offers mud crabs, lobsters, balmain bugs on a buffet? along with the prawns, oysters, crabs.
      And what's the price point.

Just interested because i haven't come across any in Melbourne.

      • Feast used to have a better range of seafood according to my friend who said there used to be lobsters. This 2015 article shows a better variety with pictures.

      • Longham Melba, China Bar.
There is also one in Dockland, IGG?
they all better than this one sound.

      • the night i went they did.
i hope they didnt offer any of those bugs and lobsters.

went there using groupon coupon.. so roughly paid $50%.. $45 maybe?

        usually $90

been there many times paying full price too with family… but doubt we will be going again

shame… it used to be good… they used to serve lobsters every night more than 10 yrs ago

      cant agree more.

we had bugs but they were off. some bugs turned black.. told the waitress… they didnt even bother to take it away

we had half a lobster each that night because it was father's day (not even 3./4 full)… some of us didnt even eat it coz it's sooooooooo bad.

prawns and oysters were shit too. oyster are tiny per usual
prawns r small and not firm. id rather go to The Star casino.

if you walk around the cold seafood bar.. you can smell that all the seafood are off!!

Cooked food… dont think they have changed their menu for decades. they have been serving the same steamed salmon for more than 10 yrs.

dessert - i dont think they make all their desserts anymore coz some of them are RSL quality.

    • Yeah, I don’t eat seafood, and found the rest of it to be crap.
I guess people only go for the seafood

  • Only if you eat a lot otherwise not worth it. I prefer quality to quantity. I have being there once but I prefer to go to a restaurant and have a 3 course meal.

  • The Melb equivalent was terrible. Why?

  • crappiest hotel food in sydney.
that father's day dinner was sooooooooooooooo bad, id rather have maccas

  • So, you have only half an hour to eat?

    • If you scroll down under Conditions of the Deal, it states: A maximum two-hour seating time applies to all buffet sessions.
