These appear to be the same as the Naviforce 9044, which is an Ozbargain China Cheapo favourite. Although the diameter on the Naviforce says 45mm, I have just measured mine & it's actually 43mm. They are most likely all made in the same factory then different brand names put on the dial.
I have looked at the photo closely against my Naviforce and I can't see any difference in the case & dial. I actually like the hands on this one better.

  • Crystal/Lens - Mineral Glass
  • Diameter - 43mm
  • Thickness - 10mm
  • Band width - 22mm
  • Date Window
  • Quartz movement

    Thanks :)

Wana close the deal on that hot date or that big corporate meeting? This will do it

    • +8

Or if you want to embarrass yourself by wearing a watch that costs less than a box of cereal.

      • +8

Maybe you should shop at Aldi if you are paying that much for cereal haha.

      • +4

I wouldn't be embarrassed. I'm still working through an 805g box of Nutri-Grain that cost $4 at Coles. If someone advised me of the sugar and fat content, I would thank them for letting us know.

      • -1

These belong in a box of cereal.

        • +4

Oh, you're on the wrong site matey. You want richtossers.com and moremoneythansense.com

My $10 Naviforce? Love it. This is a bargain.

          • -7

@Speckled Jim: How is buying plastic crap that doesn't last a bargain??

            • +4

@Savas: Hi Savas, I hope you are well. This watch is not plastic, it has a metal case and a mineral glass lens.

              • -5

@WatchNerd: The watch strap is made from nylon anyway so what's your point. Also I don't think people would say it arrived with a broken second hand for no reason, but you seem to think these watches are amazing and get offended when people criticize them

                • +5

@Savas: People buy watches worth thousands and put nylon straps on them all the time. A strap can be easily changed as well. I don't think people are buying these expecting the strap to be top quality.

Also you can buy a watch worth hundreds & still get a crappy strap or bracelet. Seiko is well known for doing this.

Has someone hacked your account? Did you forget that you have upvoted these watches 4 times in old deals. The more votes a deal gets the more likely people will buy them, haha.

I'm not offended, I have just corrected you because you said that these watches are plastic, which isn't true.

                  • -5

@WatchNerd: do you actually think these watches you post are good? I would expect someone with the username of "watchnerd" to actually no about watches because I am sure these watches are landfill

                    • +2

@Savas: Yes for the money they are good. As I mentioned in the description - the Naviforce 9044 is an Ozbargain favourite. Can you imagine how many members have bought one since they were 1st posted on here? Of course there are going to be some duds at this price.

Do you really think I post deals because I want members to waste their money?

                      • -6

@WatchNerd: I'm not sure, not only on ozbargain but there are lots of comments saying they fall apart after a few months. I wouldn't expect much for $5 either but it is still a waste of money you could be spent on a decent watch.

                        • +2

@Savas: Maybe you shouldn't have upvoted all those past deals then and contributed to members wasting their money.

Don't forget that you can always apologise for your mistake of saying that these watches are plastic. You don't have to dig in and say it was the nylon strap that you were talking about.

                    • +6

@Savas: as someone who hasn't bought/worn a watch for more than 20 years, i bought this one based on WatchNerd's advice. not just because it was cheap; i like the look of it and it has enough of the features i'm after. many watches many times the price haven't impressed me in the past.

i've seen enough of his posts — although i may not have upvoted all of them — to know that he knows what he's talking about. he seems to be able to recommend you a good watch whatever the price range. otherwise his username might have been ExpensiveWatchNerd

                      • +3

                        @tdw: Very well said.

                      • -5

                        @tdw: I guarantee you just wasted $5

                        • +4

@Savas: your "guarantee" wasn't worth the bandwidth you wasted

                          • @tdw: I can prove you saved $3.60. The title's $5.64 watch is here for ~$8.40 + 10% GST = $9.24. Still not much money, but a huge 63.8% extra.

                  • +3

@WatchNerd: At such low prices these watches may be excellent stocking fillers etc for Christmas.

            • +2

@Savas: What? Like Fitbits or any number of Xiaomi garbage?

Fact is, it's ALL crap. Just a matter of finding the least-worst crap at an agreeable price IMO.

I bought a metal $10 Chinawatch from a market stall in WA back in 2003. It's got Kabana printed on the face.
              The bastard still works.

              • @Speckled Jim: I don't understand your reply.

                • +2

                  @Savas: I replied to this:

@Speckled Jim: How is buying plastic crap that doesn't last a bargain??

Someone else had already corrected you (not plastic) so I gave an example of my old Kabana watch, which is also metal of some sort.
As long as you don't shower or swim wearing them, they last.

                  • -1
                    • +5

@Savas: Congratulations WatchNerd on receiving a well-deserved Popular Deal badge. That is a great achievement considering almost no Members knew of the brand previously.

                      • +2

@PJC: And the watch strap is plastic as well! Gee whiz WatchNerd is good!

                        • +1

@sky blu: Some people prefer those nylon straps - but not intellectuals, apparently.

                    • +2

@Savas: Remember when you used to post weekly grocery deals and people would thank you? I guess now you’re hellbent on undoing all that good will. Next time you think you have something to contribute, do us a favour and keep it to yourself.

                      • @smartazz104: Did OzBargain break Savas?

                      • -3

@smartazz104: Literally heaps of people commented their watches were crap??? I don't know how I am "undoing goodwill".

              • -2

@Speckled Jim: Thanks for letting us no.

        • Not in yours. I am certain you would choke.

  • +1

Excellent value as usual. In my opinion some options - and certainly the logo - resemble Luminox watches.

  • +4

Wow , this must be Xiaomi cousins ….

  • How did you get US$3.59 shipped? I get US$3.62 + $2.20 shipping. Is there a coupon code?

    • As the description states - the price is for A which is the first watch.
Also it looks like you somehow selected a different shipping method. China Post is free.

      • Thanks. I opened it with my laptop and it's fine, showing free shipping.

  • +1

The dials reminds me of the Seiko 5 SNK-809

  • So credit card payment only?

  • -2

Forgive my ignorance but can i ask why junker watch deals keep getting huge upvotes? Like, is this a meme or what? Are ppl actually suggesting these are good and keep good time or is it all for the lulz?

      • Yes but i was referring to past deals as well as this one. I wasn't trolling, it's a genuine question, i dont get it? Not sure why i got so many downvotes just for asking a genuine Q tbh but that's OzB for u ;)

edit: plus it's early days. It's 30 votes now and it'll go up more for sure

    • +7

This Junkers watch is desirable. OP's watch deal represents extraordinary value at very little cost.

      • But that watch actually looks decent, the OPs looks cheap

        • +1

But it isn't a bargain, while OP's watch definitely is a bargain at $5.64.

    • +3

" Are ppl actually suggesting these are good and keep good time"

No, people are merely confirming that they have bought the watch it appears to be a variant of, which is good value and keeps good time, as does any watch which has a myota [citizen] movement, on the recommendation of someone who has proven time and time again that they know what they are on about.

Pardon my ignorance, but have you been here 6 years and still not grasped the concept of the site? These deals are a bit more popular than invitations to submit details to data harvesting sites, as one actually gains a benefit for one's effort.

    • +4

Are ppl actually suggesting these … keep good time …

Why ever not? By definition, quartz watches are accurate. That is why the arrival of quartz movements destroyed huge chunks of the traditional watch industry. Many renowned brands disappeared. ORIS made quartz watches for about 2 years before reverting to solely Automatics.

Let's not forget the Swiss watch market was all but lost until Swatch came along with relatively cheap quartz.

    • -4

yeah I have no idea why people keep buying them

      • +5

But you have upvoted them in the past.

        • +1

          Haha nice one.

        • -1

literally only voted on those deals because you posted them in the first place, fine I wont up vote them anymore.

          • +1

@Savas: Going off your comment I didn't think you were going to anyway. I didn't neg you by the way.

        • Thanks for posting very inexpensive watches OP. I assume that's why Members keep buying them.

    • Like my Wing Sung 3008 fountain pen (USD $1.50) and my Xiaomi Mi A1, its basically a great watch at 1/10 of the price you'd pay for an equivalent western brand.

  • +1

I've just bought one .. not holding my breadth on that this will be good quality

    • +4

The Naviforce 9044 has been posted many times before & there is hardly any bad feedback, hence why it got over 200 votes when it was posted here for $10.41 shipped.

      • +2

Thought it was really good quality til the seconds hand fell off after 2 months.

        • +3

Mine arrived with the second hand fallen off.

          • @ausmechkeyboards: Did you end up getting your money back after opening a dispute?

          • +1

@ausmechkeyboards: One of my Naviforce watches appears to be made of a steel/cheese alloy. You can scratch holes in the soft areas with your fingernail, the hard areas are steel. It keeps good time though…

  • +2

$5.42 for me for the "A-black" good price to decide if I like wearing a watch again.

    • +1

By the power vested in me it is my solemn duty to hereby absolve you of all blame and any residual guilt concerning the essential acquisition of this remarkably inexpensive horological wonder. ® © ™

      • +1

This absolution was just poetry, a symphony to behold.

  • +1

    Cheers WatchNerd!

  • bought

  • +1

    Thanks OP! Bought one

  • +4

Why is there so much emphasis on the second numbers and not the hours?

    What's the time bud?
    It's 35:25.
    You mean 7:25?
    No idea mate.

    Bought one anyway 😂

    • +1

It's a style often termed an "Aviator" watch, and the emphasis is on assessing elapsed rather than current time…

      • +1

Oh cool. Now I need some aviator sunnies! 😎

  • Looks good but not a fan of the fabric band. Can you get the pleather bands anywhere like the naviforce 9044?

    • +1

They're 22mm width so any strap you can get will fit… I buy watches based on the fact I probably will not like the band and usually swap it out.

  • Seems like this watch has some lume whereas the Naviforce does not.

  • +1

    Thanks Watchnerds

  • +7

Seems like a good deal, but outta my price range

  • -2

My wrist watch costs as much as roughly 1300 of these and I reckon I got a good deal on that!

    • +5

Perhaps you paid 1300x too much 😂

      • Haha, have an upvote on behalf of my partner!

        • To your partner: how you doin’?

  • How accurate are is the description for water resistance?

    • +1

30 meters [3 bar] is generally taken as being a watch you can wear in light rain or wash your hands but not your wrists whilst wearing. It is a "static" measurment, so you wouldn't go swimming with it but you could put it on a wet bar table…

  • I too am being charged for shipping.

  • So no concerns the cheap china watch luminosity is the sweet glow of radium?

    • What use is the two extra years of your lifespan?

    • Not concerned if it is delicious.

    • +1

That is something that can be trivially checked by Border farce and the postal services…

  • -3

How would it be a bargain if it's never work!

    • +1

Why would these watches never work?

    • +4

even a broken watch is correct twice a day

    • +2

If it stops working, it's probably the battery. The accepted solution is to replace the dead battery with a new one.

  • +1

Thank you OP. Added a couple of colours of these to my collection for casual use :)

Any advice on the best way to replace a broken pin in a Naviforce 9044? Guy at Mister Minit wanted ~$11 for the pin and replacement, which if i recall was about the same as I paid for it. Can you replace it yourself? or are specialist tools required? Pls be gentle, I am watch n00b

    • +4

It's not hard, just watch a youtube video to see how it's done. I have done it with a pocket knife, but that could go horribly wrong in more than one way.
You can buy a removal tool on eBay & Aliexpress for around $1.00 but the steel in them isn't great. I broke mine after a few uses.

I would probably try this one next on Aliexpress - $1.36 + gst
For 22mm watch pins just do a search on Aliexpress or eBay.

      • +2

Thanks WatchNerd! Appreciate you explaining those things. I'll look into it :)

      • +1

If it's just a spring pin then a steak knife works well - as the pins sits between the serrations. Steak knives are normally fairly blunt, so you probably won't cut yourself.

        • blunt steak knife …. is this a vegan steak knife ?

  • Any details on how precisely it keeps the time?

Some are rubbish with a 10 or 20 seconds per day.
    Some are good.

Any info about this one in particular?
