  • Go Team Fred!

  • Pardon my ignorance, but has any contestant dressed in a turtle suit yet?

I hope they've got good security, mine would likely jump the fence to join in.

  • CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?
Alcohol is not permitted inside of the Australian Ninja Warrior site.

Ain't nothing Australian about not beign able to bring your esky!

Seriously though - thanks for sharing :)

2:30am!!?!?! No Way. You should be compensated for your time.

    • Also LOL at the you cannot leave the place, you must stay till 2AM or our guards will force you to watch.

      • +1

If you need to leave just start taking photos with your phone and you will be escorted out.

      • LOL yeah its not in the terms and conditions but this is in the FAQ:

        CAN I LEAVE EARLY?
By accepting the Terms and Conditions for the show on application of your ticket, you agree to remain for the duration of the show.

It's not in the terms so I guess it doesn't matter …

  • Too bad it ain't in Sydney

We went to the one in Sydney on cockatoo island. They keep you inside an empty hot warehouse (chain locked cages) for about 2 hours until they usher you to the arena. Then you're expected to scream and cheer for the contestants otherwise they'll point you out and name and shame you if you're sitting/ not pretending to look excited for the cameras.

Anytime you want to go to the bathroom, you have to put your hand up and someone will escort you there and back. Super hot and literally did not stop sweating and they keep you up till about 3am.

Worst part is you can't leave until morning when the ferries start up again. Stuck on a horror island it was like i was in prison.

    • "That's the ticket" alright! The ticket to horse sh!t island!

    • Surely you knew the ferry timetable?

    • Hopefully now that it is filming in Victoria the conditions wont be the same. Rumoured location is that it will be filmed at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

    • A true ninja warrior would swim!
