12 Months of Xbox Live Gold.

Cheapest I can find at the moment.

I paid via Paypal and got code instantly.

Set VPN to Brazil, opened new incognito window and logged into my xbox account and applied code successfully.
Fired up my XBone and 12mths of Gold applied.

I beleive code MUST be applied via internet browser logged into xbox account. It won't work if tried through console directly.

UPDATE:
if you have a current sub from a Australia or any country other than Brazil this may not work. You might have to wait until you have no active subscription to apply.

      just to apply the code for the Live gold. Once its applied you can disable VPN and log into account as normal.

        Xbox live used to be region free but it says Brazil I understand u can use a vpn but didn't know it was region based now

      Don't think so, you can change the region via webpage and apply redeem code from there same as Xbox gift card.

      I could be wrong if anything changes recently. I bought it anyway, will update you guys if this works without VPN.

    Also of note, you cannot stack xbox live gold if you previously activated a xbl gold code from a different region.

      Worked for me dude, I still have Gold until the 10th of next month and that was from a year long code, can't remember if Aussie or American, but either one isn't Brazil, and this one went through fine for me.

        you must not have an ongoing subscription from your previous activation for this to work. Thats what I mean. Because I had a Brazilian subscription and Australian didn't activate

          I recently hit the same problem with my Hungarian EA Access subscription. I eventually was able to redeem my AU codes by switching the VPN back to Hungary.

    VPN is NOT required.

    I just clicked the link, worked fine, bought it with my PayPal, checked my bank account, got charged the exact right amount (forgot to check if the 5% FB like thing applies to this deal, oh well), and the code was emailed through instantly.

    Thanks OP. My sub ends in literally 2 weeks and I wasn't intending on renewing, but (profanity) it, at that price, why not.

        Didn't use one at all, just did it in a standard incognito page.

        In fact, I actually got a bonus month for free by turning on auto renewal, which I then turned off immediately and still got the extra month, I'm all paid up until November next year now.

    I have just tried this, bought the code it came through straight away all good.
    I put the VPN on connected via Brazil and went to Xbox using the translate option. I clicked on redeem code and it took the code but warned me that as I had a current subscription from a different region it might not accept the code. When I clicked confirm it refused the code. It runs out in the next week so I will retry then.

      I have 11 month xbox live gold (Australia) from last cashrewards promotion left, just turn off auto-subscription firstly, use vpn to redeem the Brazil xbox code, got 13 months after accepting turn on auto-subscription while redemption, then turn off auto-subscription again, all done!

        I don't have auto-renew on. Tried this twice, using VPN, but it did not work. Must just be different for some people. I will just have to wait till the end of this subscription, It's coming up soon so I will advise if it works ASAP.

      UPDATE - my sub ran out this week, I just put the code in and it worked flawlessly. it seems you just have to wait till the end of the subscription in some cases.

    Beware. Apparent advice from Xbox Live Support:

    "Some codes from Mexico and Brazil will be redeemed outside these regions without hitting the region lock error. This is a temporary issue and does not mean that your subscription will be guaranteed valid. Your subscription may be invalidated at any time without notice."

      These things have always been done at your own risk, don't blame the OP. Just like after years MS decided to ban some people's Xbox accounts for a couple of weeks after making purchases from other regions via various methods recently.

          No, the warnings have always been there in both instances and people have ALWAYS done both at their own risk, whether they’ve bothered to research it themselves beforehand or not.

          FWIW…only a month ago I redeemed a Brazilian code on a current AU Live subscription without any issues so it’s quite possible that the OP had not experienced the issue to make people aware of.

          These things are covered one way or another in Microsoft’s ToS and at any time they can decide to act on it, whether it’s random or some other algorithm they use.

      The real issue now becomes no sure whether Microsoft allows us purchase/redeem another code from different regions exclude Brazil, according to my research, some players could only purchase/redeem xbox live from Brazil until the current xbox gold live subscription from Brazil ends. For example, sometimes xbox live from Argentina are cheaper than Brazil, but you cannot redeem it before current subscription ends. No every player has this issue.

      But I think xbox live from Brazil is always cheapest in the market, so I do not mind keep purchasing xbox live codes from Brazil and redeem it by vpn.

    Microsoft xbox game purchases used to - used to being the operative word - have as a selling point the global purchase - not just region restricted like playstation.

    By making these changes and altering global useage Microsoft is doing away with that competitive advantage to save pennies really. Its good to see that strategically Microsoft have become so short termism and are just pursuing short term profits because that means they have become 2 arrogant commercially. The xbox one x is the best console currently but rescinding global shop just undermined that big time. A halfway house on this is useless, so Sony have just been given a leg up by the Microsoft changes.

      I think it’s still global except for a few countries that are known to be excesssively cheap and being exploited. Argentina which has most games for about a third of the price of Australian games has been restricted so that you can’t use gift cards and need a credit card from Argentina to purchase from their store.

    After a few failed attempts it worked.

    Change region of console in setting

    Add new card (can be Aussie) make address random then google a Brazilian postcode.

    Then jump onto browser and use hola to browse Brazil Xbox.

    Enter code

    Restart console.

    After about 10 failures this was the only method that worked for me

    I cannot get mine to work. Whenever, I go to type in the key it says my microsoft account is Australia. This is even using a VPN changing to Brazil, setting recurring billing off, changing my address book to a Brazil address. I sent an email to cdkeys but i wont hold my breath.

      Are you trying on your console or Web browser? I did it using Chrome on my pc, opened a new incognito window and set to Brazil using windscribe VPN.

    Hi

    1. Purchased the xbox live though incognito
    2. Signed up with Nordvpn 3 day trials with just email downloaded the app on my phone. Connected to Brazil server
    3. Open web browser Use the code on Xbox store - redeem.
      https://redeem.microsoft.com

    If you ✓ auto renewal you get 1 extra month which you can always cancel towards the end

    Confirming that it just worked for me.

    Doesn't work with TorGuard, but worked with Windscribe for some reason. Gave an extra month as well for ticking auto-renewal which is awesome.

    I bought the CD Key successfully (for those who don't know above, you don't need a VPN for this part).

    I tried to Redeem the Code via xbox.com using Google Chrome (in Incognito Mode) and was denied due to region block. So I turned on Tunnel Bear (Google Chrome Extension) and tried again and was successful.

    If you still fail with the region block, try changing your account to an address in Brazil (use Google Maps) before Redeeming the Code.

    I've just checked my account and it says AU$79.95 every 12 months, next charge on 12/2/2019. Now, when you first see this, you will be a little surprised but keep in mind that this is American (MM/DD/YYYY).
