hi-speed USB == USB 3.0
or is that just the marketing gimmick(the hi-speed not USB3.0)
These are old usb terms
USB high speed = 480 Mbit/s (USB 2.0)
USB Full Speed = 12 Mbit/s (USB 1.1)
USB 2.0 Low Speed = 1.5 Mbit/s (USB 1.0)
You'd hope it will be high speed. I don't think anyone makes full or low anymore especially with 3.0 just around the corner.
3,0 is not round the corner, but has arrived long time back.
I have a USB 3.0 laptop from early last year, and bought a 1 TB HDD early this year.
Cheers,
was thinkin the same
its USB 2.0 - 480Mbits - on specs page of item
yeah saw this last night too. it's a 3.5 incher by the way, as the site doesn't mention the size. it might be obvious to some, but not all.
dunno about the price, looking at pcdiy from staticice.com.au they have a seagate ext. 3.5 1tb for $65.00. i'm not sure whether the features are comparable though.
