"Good for beginners" is the key to this.
It should be ok for those starting out in the sport, or wanting to just have a splash about.

Anaconda have those trial pools - I would ask for a try out before buying.

  These things are fine. You just stand up and paddle. They're actually a little more forgiving in certain wave conditions and less so in others. They won't hold up to complex manoeuvers (jumps?) or race conditions but who does that?
