Get ready for storm season with free green waste tipping weekends at Council resource recovery centres on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October.

Free green waste tipping is for domestic vehicles under 4.5t CGVM and includes lawn clippings, prunings, palm fronds and branches.

Council’s resource recovery centres are open from 6.30am to 5.45pm daily and are located at:
• 1402 Nudgee Road, Nudgee
• 360 Sherbrooke Road, Willawong
• 101 Upper Kedron Road, Ferny Grove
• 728 Tilley Road, Chandler (opposite the Sleeman Sports Complex).

BCC has also waived the establishment fee for green waste bins for bins ordered in October.

Cleaning up is easier with a green waste recycling bin and if you order your new bin between 1-31 October, we'll waive the $30 establishment fee.
