it's just an appreciation for the OP's to post the deal, as this is a community
3 things:
1-I didn't see that dog post before (plus one from me too)
2-In that one, people had a choice to go and adopt a dog. They weren't knocked back. Here people have chosen to go to shops (or contacted them) and were knocked back.
3-I understand ozbargain's community spirit. I never denied that. I was just asking as constructively as I could.
I have been here long enough and I am sure I have seen some good deals get down voted (and more commonly not voted on at all) for lack of supply/inability to replicate

It's only a "bargain" if a reasonable number of people have the opportunity to get the "bargain." It's hardly an "OzBargain" if only 1 or 2 people managed to get it while dozens (maybe 100s?) of others spent time and effort trying but didn't. There are guidlines in the wiki to this effect.
issh, the reason the OP achieved so many positives is more to do with his/her "achievement." This does not necessarily mean it's a bargain in OzBargain terms.
Fair question and worded appropriately so not deserving of the neg (to whoever gave it).
I think the +'s are appreciation of the effort too (scanning in receipts, sharing the deal quickly hoping others may benefit) and the hope that others have in obtaining it but you are right that from the comments only 2 or 3 people seem to have been able to get the item and only the OP seems to have gotten lucky with a price match. The other thing is we don't know how much stock there was to start with. ie, If a another came out with a deal knowing there was only 5 of these for the same price it would be neg'd to oblivion because so few people could get it (esp if the specific store location to go to couldn't be advised). Clearly not quite the same with this bargain but the parallels are worthy of discussion/understanding.
anyone try target Canberra Centre?
i tried target tuggeranong and they had a similar belkin one but it scanned at $89. it had red digits on the screen and i think the correct one has blue digits.
So this was a mistake/error?
When there is a pricing error all targets gets to have the same error. Pricing is not set by individual stores.
Spawnpoint, yes it was a pricing error and has been fixed today. Don't try to look for one. :)
I found exact same model at a Dick-Smith store close to my area. There were two on the isle. A sales guy took me to the manager as well and checked with him. The manager said he can not price match as the price is too law.
So I had no luck even though I managed to find the exact same thing at DickSmith.

how come this has so many positives. Apart from maybe 5 did any one get this. Its seems either a clearance or more likely a mistake
