It appears that Amazon AU are price matching/beating some of Target's Game Clearance. Great if you have a Prime Membership and your local Target doesn't have stock.

NOTE: Some games are showing at a higher price due to Amazon AU running out of stock. You can still order through Amazon AU, and the item will be dispatched within 2 to 3 weeks.

If you've got a switch, snipperclips is a must buy at $20.

    • +2

Rayman is hard to pass up as well

      • Gyro sucks. Buy it on a platform without gyro.

    • Sarcasm?

      • What if I have no friends? Doesn't sound like a singleplayer friendly game.

        • Was referring to snipperclips

Switch games bargain!! Get on it!!

    • +4

      All two of them… :D

  • WTF?! Just two games for the mighty PC? Why oh why?

    • +5

Sorry, still adding them in. Issues with PC Games, is that CD Keys/Steam are usually cheaper.

Also Target didn't stock many PC Games to begin with, so Amazon AU didn't price match.

I've been putting my 1080 to good use… playing indy games.

      • If you don't want it I'll happily trade you with my RX480 lmao

        • I'm too lazy to pull it out to get rid of it. And reinstall drivers and all that other jazz. I paid $700+ for it too. Good investment… not.

        • @cnut: Well at the moment you kinda have to keep it because you can't really downgrade nor upgrade so…enjoy!
There's been a lot of games for sale on steam lately, perhaps check them out? I also invest way too much in gaming even though I can only play SP games due to my trash internet. So you're not alone in making poor decisions when it comes to gaming.

        • @Lolno234: I downloaded Hellblade! Looks like a game that would take advantage of the card. I actually did use it for game like Deus Ex and others, but only briefly. I find that I use the Switch way more nowadays because it's portable.

@cnut: If you are into RPGs and want to test your gpu get Kingdom Come Deliverance and Witcher 3. Both great games.

Don't buy Battlefield 1 for $29. You can get the Battlefield 1 base game pre-owned from EB at the moment for $14 or new from Target if you can find stock for $10 and the Premium Pass is currently free for a limited time.

      • +1

Should have stated that I was referring to the PS4 version.

    • +4

It's also about six bucks on origin for the PC.

      • +1

ahh u beat me to it. was gona say the same ^ base game is $6.29 + free premium on PC (Origin)

    • +2

Not to blow my own horn but good deal for XB1

    • Get EA Access for $10 from target and you get Battlefield 1 for 12 months.

      • Is that EA access actually available? That's a great price.

        • Yeah I bought six and gave a few to people at work. Like when they had it for $25 a while back, none of the staff know about it and they have to go through their drawers to find it.

        • @tomski182: You reckon if I called ahead they would be able to check for me?

        • @Stek: unlikely

  • +5

They can do better than this.
Titanfall 2 is $10 @ Big W and so is Mirrors Edge Catalyst.
Much of these games are 2 for $40 @ JB.

    Great job OP!

  • niiicee

  • I am a sucker for a $10 ps4 game that is well rated.

  • Also remember that Destiny 2 is one of the free PS Plus games for September.

  • Just pickup at Target - Castle Hill

    Dishonored 2 $10
    Sniper Elite 4 $20

Don’t why I bought them, so many games so little times

  • I'm a PC gamer. I've just brought Wolfenstein II The New Colossus and The Evil Within 2. These are the cheapest these games have ever been even in steam sales.

I'm playing Wolfenstein the new order now and it's only $10 on Amazon so is the evil within 1. If you going through a single player phase at the moment, as am I, lots of good quality gaming to have with 4 games. All for $60.

    • Wolfenstein II was $10 a few weeks back when EB was running their daily specials

      • +1

Yep that was amazing. But I'm not going to wait for a daily special like that again. Could be a long ways away especially since I'm almost finished part 1 :D

  • Anyone ever got this email from amazon:

"We have removed your access to this account because we could not confirm your payment information. You will not be able to access your account or place orders with us until we confirm your information………….
We ask that you not open new accounts because any new order that you place may be delayed"

I created another account (to get free prime delivery) to order Snipperclips Plus and Rayman Legends Definitive Edition with different email but same payment details as has been done by other members before ie.

    etc.

Are they cracking down on multiple accounts now?

    • They are not cracking down on multiple accounts. However, your bank won't like the same merchant doing multiple pre-auths (or charges) with the same amount within a short time frame (or same amount many times in a day).

Thus, if you kept on switching / creating accounts (or using multiple accounts concurrently) in a short timeframe, your bank will suspect it is a series of dodgy payments or your credit card got compromised and refuse to process subsequent payment to that same merchant. It's not a good idea to place multiple orders of the same amount at roughly the same time from the same merchant.

Don't try to place one game per order to milk Amazon AU for free/separate delivery. These games are old and aren't worth that much trouble.

      • This is only the second ever amazon account I've created. The first one was years ago on Amazon.com and this one was my first amazon.com.au account.

The last time I used my first amazon account was during the prime day sales a couple of months back now.

        So I don't think:

"your bank won't like the same merchant doing multiple pre-auths (or charges) with the same amount within a short time frame (or same amount many times in a day).

Thus, if you kept on switching / creating accounts (or using multiple accounts concurrently) in a short timeframe, your bank will suspect it is a series of dodgy payments or your credit card got compromised and refuse to process payment. It's not a good idea to place multiple orders of the same amount at roughly the same time from the same merchant."

        applies in my case.

I'm surprised as this is only my second amazon account and one user in the thread I linked to was up to their 87th hence why I'm asking.

        • Well, Amazon's description sounds like the credit card pre-auth failed. Contact Amazon Support to find out why they had difficulty verifying you (obviously don't mention you have another account).

        • @netsurfer:

Will try but when I go to help page it requires me to be able to login first which I can't do as account is locked.

        • @prxy: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/account-issues/re…

Open it with a browser in incognito mode, choose "I cannot log into my account". Choose the Phone option. Enter your phone number and hopefully Amazon AU CSR will call you back.

        • @netsurfer:
          Thanks

      • Lol i did 28 accounts when they had the first spend discount in 2 days?

        • Did you have:

          1) Same name on all accounts?
          2) Same credit card on all accounts?
          3) Same address on all accounts?

Did you activate free Prime trial membership for free delivery on all accounts?

The reason I ask is that following on from netsurfer's advice I checked with my bank to see if they were responsible for pre-auth failing or putting a hold/lock on account but they weren't. They said the pre-auth went through fine so I'm trying to work out what triggered Amazon's internal systems to flag and lock the account.

        • @prxy: lol same name same card 2 adresses.

        • @Seedy seed:
So you didn't activate Prime trial on any of the accounts?

I wonder if Prime was the cause then?

        • @prxy: i did prime on 7 or 8?

        • @Seedy seed:
So WTF!!! is going on in my situation only creating a second account???

        • @prxy: no idea maybe they tightened up after people like me had a crack.
