Farming Simulator lol, Good find OP !

    • I can confirm this game sucks. I planted some crops and they grew in 1 hour, not realistic at all, was hoping for a decent 3 month wait time for simulation but what is this crap?!?

      • I just started playing this game yesterday and it is pretty enjoyable. If you look in the settings, you can actually adjust how quickly time passes. It is a pretty relaxing game to put some music on and spray some farmers crops for him to earn enough cash to buy some new toys for your farm.

  • +19

Still confused as f**k how 'Farming simulator' got so popular. It's like a lame attempt at trolling the gaming public that took off

    • +5

      Like Goat Simulator.

    • +11

Actually no, it's a little confusing since so many "troll simulators" came out in a short amount of time, but this is one of the legitimate ones.

Think of it more like Visceral Clean-up Detail than one of the shitty ones.

    • It's cos people make dubstep videos on youtube while they f%#$ the police in farming simulator

      • +1

I almost thought I would never see this video again… Almost…

    • +1

Well they need to do something when they want a change of pace from their train simulators.

      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RnAMDg7IVWs

      • +1

This guy^^ everyone knows that bus simulator is where it’s at. Train simulator is old news

    • So realistic. Have multiple droughts, supermarkets squeeze your margins or buy from o/s instead, kids don't want to work on farm and you have to work non stop and eventually sell up to an overseas developer to save your marriage ;-)

  • +39

Judging by the empty shelves with Price Tags, I'm assuming staff has already put items aside for themselves.

    • +26

So that's where the Dick Smith staff went

      • +3

See for all the talk about that I had an amazing time. Went first thing and to about 5 stores and grabbed a nexus 7 for $50, Windows table for $50, Macbook pro for $1000 and also Xperia Z Ultra for $100.

        • +2

I remember the time when ps3 console was $180. I called my local Dick Smith if they had any in stock and they said they had one left but couldn’t put it on hold so I sped to the shop in my PJs, messy hair and morning breath just to get it.

Not that I condone speeding or morning breath

        • +7

Anything for a bargain. I respect that.

        • @ireadtermsofuse:

          morning breath

That always gets me an extra 20% off.

        • +3

I went into my local the day before and located the items I wanted and moved them all to a spot out of the way where they shouldn’t be. When the doors opened the screaming masses charged in and I casually collected my bargains and was at the register less than a minute after they opened

  • +3

Which of these games are actually worth it though?
Looking to get into some new games..

    • +2

Gears is good. COD infinite warfare is worth it for $5

    • +3

pokemon for the 3ds looks good.

    • +3

      Prey is really good, for $10 it's a no-brainer.

  • +5

Marvel vs cap com for $20 looks pretty good

    • Yeah, it's ok as single player. Online is dead though

  • Wouldn't the sale of already started if tags are up?

    • +6

      “Sale of”?

I assume someone was in there right before closing while they were ticketing up for tomorrow.

    • Salve*

  • Does Target sell any PC games or is it primarily console?

    • +1

      Gone the way of consoles

    • +8

Some Target's still have PC stuff, but they rarely change the price after launch, so you can find Diablo 3 for like $60 still.

      • Ok. Thanks for that

      • CD Key is the place to go for PC games. I haven't used them myself but will be to buy F1 2018.

        • Agreed i got destiny 2 for $5 instantly soo good

        • +6

Anywhere that isn't a legitimate reseller has a high chance of supporting theft. I know after listing digital codes on eBay that mine got scammed through chargebacks.

OzB users are in denial about it. They'll tell you otherwise. They probably haven't been stolen from though.

I wish Scotty would ban key sites.

        • Not sure if I trust CD Keys, seems prone to price-jacking.

As an example; I was going to buy a few games recently on their sale.

Take the Assassins Creed special here on Ozbargain for $0.69, the price was jacked to $1.79 but maintained the 98% discount tag.

Or Destiny 2 which I went to buy the next day. When I checked the price it was about $5 but when I went back the next day to purchase I found the price had doubled to about $10. Price is now $12.39.

Overwatch is another. Was $29 only a couple of days ago, now its $40 - all part of the same sale.

        • @Ebany: Overwatch is US$12 with HumbleBundle monthly at the moment.

      • Diablo 3 for $60?!? Might as well just buy directly from blizzard

        • Actually I ended up getting it from Dick Smith during a christmas sale when they were still around.

IIRC it was something like $15.

  • Did see those reduced at Target Morno yesterday but not on its on shelf. That's nice.

    Nothing worth buying though. :P

  • May be something good from full list

  • +12

Selfish people hoping to get in and wipe them out before others have reported this to keep it off the front page lol.

    • The reports were simply users suggesting improvements to the deal title (for clarity).

  • +1

$49 for the Archer D20 modem/router looks like a good price for people still on ADSL2+.

  • Amazon might price match these prices, they always with the previous deals I find
Good if your store doesnt have stock or if you want them sealed…

    So watch this space

  • +1
