  Thought I had missed out as only now checked deals… Sometimes it pays to check expired deals😁

  Same price in store, but little stock. $5 for clear (not black or blue which are much dearer). Lucky I found at local store, so just $5.

  Otherwise Kmart has 2 larger styles for $15ea. I've left those USB powered ones on for days.

  Can add remote controlled dimmer / flasher in between power cable & power socket - available on eBay for a few dollars.

    Those are not the transparent one in this EXPIRED deal. Blue & Black were that price earlier, as noted in comment above yours.

  💡Things to do with your LightBox #1

  If powering from plug pack…
  Add a LED Controller - designed for monochrome LED strip lights. Available on eBay, etc from around $1. These have a plug on 1 end & socket on other. Simply plug power pack plug into it & plug into LightBox.

  There are a range of options from the basic with push button controls, a bit more for RF remote control, to the dearer units that are sound activated or Bluetooth operated from App (& possibly controlled by Google etc) - but some may only operate RGB LEDs unless output plug is modified.

  Found a au$1.32 one I had that is 12V that works well. (Similar to this)
  Best to use one that operates at 9V (5-12V version). Buy a MOMOCHROME controller designed for 1 colour, not RGB LEDs, with plug & socket at end of leads with controller between (not bare leads). Those are also about the cheapest.

  Not only do these dim the LEDs, but have choice of interesting effects (strobe, slow dim up & down, etc) with speed variable. Options vary with device. Makes the LightBox more noticeable than a static display.

  Mine is subtly changing the dimming of the LEDs - looks good👍
  Told staff in 2 Typo stores of this adaption & they were pretty excited, so will return to demonstrate😁

    Possible suitable LED controller with RF remote (5-24V) for $3
    I use one of these with bare leads rather than plug & socket for LED strip lights. Good value.
    Though I doubt a remote is necessary with a LightBox.

  💡Things to do with your LightBox #2

  If powering from plug pack…
  Add a TIMER - just plug the power pack into a mains timer switch & set for required on/off times.

  Wake up to inspiring messages (taken from jv & OzBargain?).

  Set this up with a $15 USB powered Kmart LightBox (long single row). Snuck in & set this up to wake my Father on his birthday with appropriate message. Add music source for added attention. He wouldn't let me remove it he liked it so much, so I just change the messages😁

  Saw yesterday, Blue version is available for $10 at some stores. (Only at 3 stores in Brisbane.) Ring a store to check computer for which stores have reduced price.

  Also micro LightBoxes $5 with purchase in store. Cute cloud or speech-bubble shaped small LightBox designs (in black, no switch, 2 batteries required).

  Tiny LightBox was on sale for $5 in store on Saturday (in black, battery operaged only). Those are half the size of this deal, with no external power socket. Yesterday were $10.

  Seems they are clearing all but black LightBoxes.
  The smaller the LightBox, the smaller the letters.
