  • No luck for me :-(

This is only 4% off maximum. Great if you're gonna spend it anyway but it's almost as exciting as 3% eBay cashrewards.

    • +4

It's $20 for spending money you would have spent anyway.

      • +2

Except if you would have spent it on 28 Degrees, you wouldn't have been targeted with the offer.

    • almost as exciting as 3% eBay cashrewards.

Do you mean more exciting? 4% > 3%

  • JonnyTheBlack, your family is being targeted!

  • Def targeted, received this last month for $400 spend, received this again this month (on a different card) but for $900 spend.

    • I got $400 spend, while a family member got a $900 spend requirement

Got something similar but for domestic purchase of $700 by the end of the month which should be heaps easier to obtain than international purchase

    • Mine doesn't say international or domestic. I will pay my Rego and insurance with it. $20 is better than nothing. Almost 3%. Better than using my Altitude, possibly only getting 1% gift card value.

    • Same here for me

  • since i pay my ebay bills with 28degrees every month and ebay is considered overseas, might as well take the $20 freebie

  • I got $20 for $400 spend either domestic, online or overseas

    • Thanks for that, I just looked again at my emails and upon closer inspection, they both don't state international spend is required. So domestic spend is much easier for me to achieve

  • Anybody got their 5% cashback for 3 months from the last deal?! I did not!! :(

    • Yep I did - took about a month for them to credit $50 to my account.

    • this is the 5% from Google Pay etc?
Got mine on 25th July; shows as "Special Promo Credit"

    • Nope, I've not got anything either.. did their Live chat before and was told to wait 60 days. I remember getting it in June, so would have had my first month by mid-July. That means I should see something come in within a week or so, else I'll complain.

      • was it meant to be credited each month? I thought it was within 30 days of the end of the 3 months (31 Aug)

        • Some people seem to be credited each month, whilst others haven't been.. The wording of the offer also was ambiguous as it said 'up to $50 per month', but then said minimum spend was $1000 to be eligible..

In short, I have no idea when or how much I'll be getting as I only hit $1000 once.

        • I couldn't understand the wording at all so decided not to participate. As it turns out, I did earn cashback as a result of my normal spending habits and that was credited each month.

    • Yep, I got my $50 in the account ages ago.

Good post OP. Unfortunately, I was not targeted, no + vote for Latitude.

    I got $20 for spending $250 internationally.

  • I got $20 for $900 spend… and this offer comes a week after I just spent over $1000 on airfares.

    Balls

    • Should call or twit them. I had the same experience too and they said they cannot find the activation. But finally they gave me the credit.

  • Mine is $900 balzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Got this in August but didn't see it! Gutted.

  • Brilliant card

  • Fook, bought my JR passes on my other card

  • Did anyone get their $20 for spending $900 or more for the August deal?

  • mine says
"Simply activate this offer below, spend over $700 before 30th September 2018, and we'll credit your account with $20". Doesn't say anything about international

  • My personal offer is:

“Simply activate this offer below, spend over $400 before 30th September 2018, and we'll credit your account with $20.”

Might just buy a discounted e-gift card from cashrewards to be consumed later.

  • Mine was for spending 250. I don't use the card at all though which is probably why the spend is so low.

I have not received this current offer, but in June I received "spend over $900 before 30th June 2018 … $20 will be credited to your account within 60 days of the offer end date." I activated and spent over $900, but by 31 August I still hadn't received the $20 credit. I enquired using Live Chat within their web site, and a "GESTURE OF GOODWILL" $20 credit appeared a day or 2 later.

You are lucky. I made a phone call last week and they said it will be by 10/9 statement. Today, I rang again, they said it will be in Sep statement, ie Oct. What part of 60 days from offer end date that they cannot understand??? They also no longer response to Twitter message. So p****d!

  • Mine is $900, but doesn't have to be international:

"Whether it's at home, online, or overseas - your spending will be rewarded"

  • Does anyone know if the spending must be done in one purchase or only the total purchases need be fulfilled?

  • I'm new to the card, do these offers that apply to me come up anywhere when I log in?

Or can I only be aware of it via e-mails?

    • My experience is that such offers get emailed out to customers in stages, so you might not get the offer until a few days later.

  • Did anyone got charge for Cash Advance fee of $4 for purchasing e-gift card with 28? (woolies)..
I was never charged with Coles Mastercard or Amex before so not really happy about this..

    • Really? I was planning to buy some, guess I won't be doing that then, thanks for the heads up

    • Do you mean just buying Wish e-gift card from Cashrewards?
I remember doing this to pad out an offer like this in the past, and recall (possibly wrongly) that it was on the 28 Degrees CC. There was no cash advance fee. Although, it might have been the Coles Mastercard instead.

  • Was considering using these guys for an overseas holiday, heard great things, anybody have any experiences with them?

  • $700 min spend for me.. bugger..

    • $900 here. Jeepers. Although doesn't state needs to be overseas spending on mine, just $900 period.

  • 700 for me as well…

  • nothing for me

    • yeah - i've never been targeted. doesn't appear to be any way of opting in either?

  • $900 spend for me.

  • How do I access this deal?

  • If you don't receive the promo emails you need to contact them (I did it through facebook) and they will opt you in for the promotions. No way to do it by logging in to your account.

  • T&C says credit will be applied within 60 days of end of promotion. Has anyone been credited yet?
