Dear OzBargainers,

I am a young entrepreneur and started my business about 3 months ago. My mission is to empower people with plastic alternatives. Keeo is a range of biodegradable party/catering plates that is made of plants. If you are looking for a good party and do not want to feel guilty of disposing off a lot of single-use plastic plates, Keeo will save you.

Few awesome facts:
* Decomposes within 60 days of disposal. After the party, you can build a compost in your garden with your kids, and turn the plates into soil nutrition.
* 100% natural and made of plants.

Product features:
* Leakage free for hot/cold liquids for 8-10 hours.
* Microwave friendly for up to 2 minutes.
* Oven friendly is kept 18 cm away from the source of heat.
* Washable, however not reusable after the event is over. Only meant for a single event. So you can wash it and reuse at the same time.

This is a plant-resourced product and will surely make you a happy & guilt-free partier!

For bulk enquiries, you can contact me at [email protected] :)

Thank you!

Biodegradable to smaller pieces of plastics which is worse for animals or total biodegradable? How long will it take to degrad?

    • +2

These don't contain plastic, so no

  • So you're selling paper plates at ridiculous prices?

    • Yes, where i could buy $1 plates from kmart then reuse them next time :/

      • Or you can fold newspaper into a plate. Kmart is such a rip off!

        • The old ink in news paper was poisenious, hence that trend stopped 😂

  • So buy plates from India for 2 Rupees a pop (https://www.indiamart.com/proddetail/areca-leaf-rectangle-pl…), import to Australia, then market what Indians have been using for ages, for absurd marked up prices.

I'm guessing most of the 15 dollar cost is shipping cause these plates cost nothing.

I guess some new age hipster might buy a pack or two but this is such a flawed business model as I'm guessing marketing costs and customer acquisition costs are substantial.

This is also the wrong forum to market as everyone here is cheap and fairly clued in about products.
