    Price should be before cashback.

Edit: also very certain cashback is calculated on before tax price. Best to double check with TightArse.

Is this most likely going to be a patched version?

    • Based on my dealings with JB I would say it's more likely to be patched than not. The black stock was already patched. The colour stock was still unpatched. If Amazon holds less stock than other vendors, it's most likely newer stock and patched.

This is the regular switch price, are we going to post every item on amazon with the 10% cash back as a deal?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +10

Switch is a popular device here, can’t see the harm in highlighting.

  • whats the Ozbargain deal price?
    g

    • Amazon and JB hifi usually has them for 400 and retail 440 ish cheapest was 315 by amazon during a day deal.

*Note: JB only has it 400 only because they self price match amazon so take it as you will

Also if you can get $100 catch cards at 15% off or 20% off you can get it for cheap, especially stacked with unidays 5% off (which are not account specific and can be generate once an hour). Makes it about $320.

        • +3

They caught on to that and removed the ability to use the UniDays discount for the switch.

        • UniDays coupon is actually 10% just to clarify

        • Yeah, Unidays doesn't work for Nintendo products anymore

        • Well that's stupidly specific.

        • @chossenger: It's cause uni students should be studying.

        • -1

          @chossenger: Because I did it.

    Pricey. Waiting on better deal.

  • +1

I think there’s little point leaving this deal here if the 10% cash rewards component is not mentioned in the title, since it now just looks like the regular pricing.

Got mine for 355 via Gamesmen Ebay… Price so low the guy at JB just shook his head when i tried to price match. Indeed a steal.

    • +1

While that's a decent price, it shouldn't really be called a steal.

A steal would be a significant drop from the usual that as of now is a one-off price. eg. The $315 prime day flash sale

Got mine for 340 with discounted Catch gift cards. They removed unidays discount day I went to buy mine which really stitched me up. However got the 10% back in store credit. imo anything under 360 is a good price.

      • +2

Yeah agreed. Around the same time it was readily available for $375 at Costco too. Thats over and $355 is better no doubt, but we had a fair few sales around June with $315 from Amazon taking the cake.

      Cool story.

  • +2

just bought mine then. How long does cashback take to show up. I haven't received a confirmation email yet.

    • +2

It can take up to 4 days to track, usually 1 or 2 days.

      • But you won't be able to cash it out for a few months

    • -1

I got one and received an email this morning saying it was tracked

      • Hi when did you buy the product?
I am still waiting for the tracking email after purchase on Friday
        Thank you

    • Same here, bought one with 2 games on Friday, and I am still waiting for the cashrewards tracking email.

  • I managed to still get the neon for $398 just now 6am +8UTC

Had $20 off from offer too.

Had Prime trial as well so.

    $398 - $20 from offer = $378 + free expedited delivery from Prime Trial + 10% cash back ($37.80 or $39.80?) should have it for about $340.

    That's gotta be pretty good.

    • +3

About 36$ cash back as it's calculated before gst

    • +1

Hey mate, what is this $20 off offer you are referring to?

      • also would like to know about this - if i can get it for $340 i might as well get it now

        • that is the $20 voucher for first time user of Amazon.com.au.

you can try opening a new account.

        • @danz84: hmmmm, tried creating a new account with a new email address. didn't get any vouchers or anything. oh well, thanks anyway!

        • @danz84: Don't know why you got downvoted danz84. You are correct.

  • Wait until November for Black Friday for mad deals imo

    • I wouldn't be so sure the switch will be heavily discounted. Still too much demand

      • Well it was $315 last sale on Amazon. I'm sure their black Friday sales will be good.

  • Yawn. When is it $379?

    • At $379, why would you want to pay more than this deal?

    • Bought it last month $379 from JB sale

  • -1

is theres a quick check to see if its a patched version?

    • lots of people asking about this. is the vulnerability really that bad?

      • It allows for piracy so I guess thats why ozbargainers are keen.

        • oh… so the unpatched version is supposedly better then? i thought it was the other way around, haha.

    • What's the slow way? My son's just arrived and he'll set it up on his birthday on the 17th. Keen to know.
