That does not make the phone bad.
The operating system could be much more resource friendly leaving more room for other applications to run where the iphone needs a more powerful CPU to allow the more intensive operating system and applications to run.
This is only a guess.
i got one of these from unique mobiles a month or so ago, its a great handset. A lot of functionality for the price.
I heard the rumour - Nokia is ditching Symbian
They signed a deal with Microsoft!!!
Not a rumour, it's a fact - Nokia are moving to WP7 as their exclusive smatphone platform. First devices to ship late '11. Symbian is out the door.
can phones using symbian be upgraded to WP7 in the future?
There will be no way that will happen
I doubt it, unfortunately. WP7 has decidedly stringent minimum specs.
lol.. wm7! gd luck Nokia!
It's not Windows Mobile 7, it's Windows Phone 7. FYI.
Which i do not like, i prefer symbian over WP7.

unfortunate….or amusing…..not sure which
it's about time! symbian has had a good run over the years but it's clunky on a touchscreen and was, no, make that is in danger of becoming extinct with the likes of iphone/android etc
I have been Nokia user for straight 7-8 years. Interface and OS is so yesterday… Time to ditch this and get a real phone..
anyone use/used this phone…
OS Symbian^3 OS
CPU 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU
damn Nokia… that some old n slow stuff…
8mp still - is in the right direction..
