I saw it at Officeworks North Ryde, NSW shop.

Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 $13
Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 $10

Those webcams should beter then VX-500 deal because it has mic inbuilded. And for the VX-3000 it has a extra face tracking feature.
