  • Thanks. Also note that St George Bank is also doing a similar offer for 30 months 2% BT fee for existing customers.

    • Cheers, I'm not seeing this on their website. Where did you see it ?

        got a letter

  • 3% fee. ouch

    3% fee is disgusting……

    It's almost like saying
Here, have a interest free loan, but the interest rate is only 2% per year

Totally agree… and because you pay that upfront the cost (lost opportunity cost) compounds. I think the ACCC should look at marketing balance transfer cards this way.

3% fee is very close to home occupiter rate

    3% kills the deal.

This is a better deal - 0% for 14 months, no fee (even though it means a new card):

whats the maximum amount of your credit limit nab allows you to process?

I still don't understand how a transfer with 3% can be advertised as 0%. Complexity=Fraud

    • Exactly like until a few a years ago, airlines were doing free flights or buy one get one free.

Then add taxes and surcharges and everything else on top

  • There is an online offer for St.Geogre Vertigo Platnium that is much better ( 0% balance transfer fee and 0% for 25months).

Look at zero balance transfer credit cards on 'finder.com.au' - it's the first offer. Annual fee of $99 is not too bad.

anyone tried calling up and asking for a better rate? anz first offered me 3% i said no thanks ill wait for a better offer then ref offered me 0% and 0 balance transfer fee for 18 months

    • I did the same, ANZ offered me the same 0% for 18 months and no BT fee. Did this twice.

    • thanks for that . does anyone know when the 24 month promo ends is it still 17 Oct? maybe a good idea to do a bt to an anz card then transfer funds to a savings account then into home loan offset account since they increased the homeloan rates.
