Dremel #220-01 Drill Press Workstation $54.90 @ Bunnings

140

Seems to be a good price. Dremel is required of course (sold separately).

Bought one from Thornleigh NSW store, they still have 1.5 pcs left. The 0.5 being as, for that particular box is actually had been opened by someone hence I went back & swapped with another. Not impressed. Check yours before you leave the store.

Checked NSW, VIC & QLD postcodes & shows In Stock in most stores.

    This is the normal everyday price for this product at Bunnings

    • Nice then. Lucky I didn't buy it from Amazon or ebay lol.

      Even comparing to US stores example Walmart, we get it much cheaper here (after exchange rate). O_O;

      • I only know because I recently bought the 335-01 Plunge Router to use with my Milwaukee M12 Rotary tool. I was also considering buying the drill press as well

        My advice, dont use the tooless chuck with the plunge router, it seems to keep coming loose, I switched back to the collet and it worked much better.

        It is a reasonable adapter, plunge depth can be a bit fiddly to set though.

          I'd just bought the chuck yesterday hoping a 4mm drill bit would fit, but it wont. I already knew Dremel stuff wouldn't accept anything over 3.2mm bits. Been looking for a work around but I could never find the answer except one guy at random forum mentioned that 4mm would fit. Lost the gamble, so my only solution is to lathe the 4mm drill's shaft down slightly.

          Also if you planning for precision drillings with this Dremel press bench, don't use this and look somewhere else. As I found out with this press, it wobbles a bit to the sides. Either because the build is made of plastic or it need a bit of fine adjustment aka hack to stop the wobbles.

        • @Yummy:
          Thanks for the heads-up. I suspect you have just saved me some $$. I have been using a countersink to start holes and then my drill is giving me results that are good enough (drilling pilot holes in timber for self tapping screws where I don't want splitting and need straight screws).

    I got one of these a couple of years ago, I'm looking forward to using it at some point.

    • Have you considered using it to drill holes in some "free gifts" from Zapals etc?

  • I've got a Ozito-Dremel clone. Is there an equivalent Ozito drill press at a cheaper price?
