  I think I will be returning my Ozito Drill Press and buying the Aldi one. Luckily I haven't unboxed it yet.

    For $100, this is actually seems like a better piece of kit than the Ozito. I'd return it.
    The Ozito is 350w - Aldi 500w.
    I can't confirm the details, but looks like the Aldi is 9 speed and the ozito is 5 (not sure though).

      Yes UFO, Thank you. I was actually just watching that video.

      The one in the video seems to be an older or overseas model from Aldi.

      From what I can gather the new one is 500w. 9 speed with a 16mm chuck and Laser guide.

      I am hoping it will be taller than the Ozito as well, which will be definitely going back to Bunnings.

    The fences on these type of saws only clamp on one side of the table so pushing the workpiece too hard against the fence can cause it to flex.

    FYI, ended up going with reciprocating saw to cut in and crow bar to lever out a chunk at a time. Gets the job done!

  I got that mincer, its pretty crap, mainly because it moved on the table even after I clamped it. Threw it away after several attempts.

  Considering buying some of those tools, but I don't need them.
