  Be careful with this. Kmary had this deal at Christmas time and when I got to the store the camera and printer were sold sperately. Each was $149. The wording this time seems a little different but just warning you….

  the catalogue clearly states that it is the bundle (camera+bag+printer+card) that costs $149. if you follow the link and enlarge the photo by clicking on it, you will see it. i don't think the "$149 each" means each item in the bundle is $149. that will mean that the SD card and the camera bag is $149 each :)

  Yeah. The catalogue clearly says "bundle includes …" and the price should be the bundled price. Great find dansor!

  yep, I said the wording this time was a bit different and it does clearly state….but lots of people were fooled by a similar offer that ended up being wrong so just warning…this looks legit though!

    What trudt says. Not Kmart, but once upon the time OfficeWorks used to make mistake in their catalogue and then decline to match the offer (you might find the discussion under OfficeWorks deals). So yeah, if it is too good to be true, then there is a possibility that it was caused by the mistake, and there's also a possibility that the merchant won't honour the offer.

    But this one does look legit to me :)

  It looked legit last time and it wasn't although this looks more legit but I wouldn't put it past Kmart to say "we made a mistake" (like they did last time) oh don't worry about it……If you can get it at that price good luck to you!

  I went to Kmart tonight (11th) to try and buy this bundle and the person running the Kmart photo dept told me they wont have stock of this item until after the promotion ends. I questioned how ridiculous it was to advertise items in their catalogue if they cannot get the stock until after the promotion is over. They couldn't tell me for sure if other branches would have it, but they said "probably not". They also said there are no rainchecks (also says so in the catalogue). They then tried to sell me a similar package for a much higher price while I was in the store. I think this "too good to be true" item is just a ploy to get people into the store in the hope they will buy other things.

  UPDATE: 12/04/2008

  I went back to Kmart today because I wanted to complain further about this, and I swung past the camera dept and there was a different person working there today. I asked him about the bundle, and he said they had them in stock (had them yesterday as well!). I checked it was everything as advertised and I bought one.
  I can confirm that the bundle (one box) DOES contain EVERYTHING shown in the Kmart catalogue i.e. C613 Camera, G610 Printer/Dock, 1GB SD Card and Camera Bag. Everything for $149.00

  What an awesome price.

  Gotta love Kmart staff, the women I spoke to in the camera dept last night obviously had no idea.
