  • So, one of my Iq1 boxes broke, just called and got a replacement and just recieved an IQ3.5 in the mail

HEAPS faster than the iq3 and the branding has been changed from Foxtel to their new icon (also looks like Pace branding is replaced by 'Arris')

Also changed the output ports on the rear, logo on the front and remote, and addition of a Bluetooth pair button (remote is just as crap though)

  • I called today and was told that the upgrade from iq3 to iq4 is $125.. I asked a few times if it could be done for free and he wouldn't budge

Rep first confirmed that we're on satellite. Didn't ask for account details though

  • Just tried to upgrade and was told this free upgrade offer has expired. She was unwilling to budge, best she said she could do was half price ($70). Anyone else had luck recently?

  • I called up using what OP did, unfortunately, I got the letter about the price rise the next day ($3 per month). This will take my basic entertainment + sport + hd package up from $75 to $78 per month.

I noticed if you are contracting now for the same basic entertainment + hd + sports it is free for the first three months, installation waived and $65 per month after ($26 entertainment + $10 HD + $29 Sports).

It seems I am paying at least an extra $10 a month for no reason? Do I need to re-contract to get the new rates (ie. re-commit for another 12 months) or do they have the right to keep over-charging me (as per current prices) unless I re-commit?
