Yes it can. Same as fire cube.

Damn i see you the one on the other forum where everyone is telling you it can. Why you still asking?

      • Just wondering is it my 2022 can't

You could also get this at Jbhifi for $59 plus $10 sign up coupon making it $49 plus delivery

I grabbed it at Black Friday for $59 on Amazon with the 20% shopback for $47.2. Great streamer and fast, puts my google tv to shame

$53.10 from BIG W using everyday rewards

    • How do you get 10% off with Everyday Rewards?

      • Search everyday rewards extra. It’s a subscription gives you 10% off once a month at BIG W and woolies.

  • There is 2 apps I can’t see on their list of apps - Hayu and Foxtel. Does anyone know if these can be downloaded onto the stick from the Amazon store or via web browser? Need to get one of these for my mum as her TV OS is becoming really slow after a couple years.

    • i believe hayu can be accessed via prime, binge/kayo apps would cater for foxtel content i think?

    • The Foxtel app can be sideloaded - there are instructions online, don't remember it being too hard. I've done it on my 4K Max and works perfectly.

Perfect thanks. Just needed to know if side loading was an option. I did it on the Xaomi TV box I got her and it was easy so hopefully same here.

      • If this the Foxtel Go app? I thought Foxtel didn't work on android devices (officially)?

        • Yes, this is the Foxtel Go app. I think that used to be the case as far as Android / Google TV goes - I remember trying to unsuccessfully sideload the mobile app after I first got a Chromecast w/ Google TV. Must have changed at some point (maybe in the last year) as prior to buying a 4K Max I had installed the app direct from the store on another CCwGTV.

Holy…. I bought the 4 K version from TGG a few days ago for $59 and opened the box yesterday night.

Better off getting a dedicated android stick. This thing is too restrictive

    • Any specific suggestions? I have 2 firesticks and find it okay for my needs but interested if there is a better alternative that performs just the same w/o the restrictions

    • Can you recommend some? I have a firestick for streamio and Kodi, but changes mean I can’t easily use custom loader screens. Want to get something that lets me start with a clean slate but android based.

  • is it worth upgrading from 2022 4K Max model ?

Is it good for kodi ?

    • Yes, these are excellent for kodi.

    Is this the Xbox model?

Looking forward to playing xbox indiana jones on it… After months of smashing thru old arcade games…

  • Thanks OP, got it!

  • Can this play emulation games?

  • Anyone used one of these with moonlight streaming successfully?

  • Hmm, do I bother claiming a $2 price reduction with 28 Degrees?

  • So 4k.amd 4k max can play xbox 360 titles, how good is it for games?

  • Can you set up all the standard IPTV streaming apps on these or it won't let you?
This or Nvidia shield or android box off AliExpress?

  • all the standard IPTV streaming apps on these or it won't let you?

Just like andriod TV, you can install unknown apps.
