IS that $59 for 5 months worth of nbn internet?

  • I’ve been with Mungi’s 50/20 since Buzztelco’s demise(was happy with them). Getting $5 off a month(ex-buzztelco customer).
mungi is very good. Very decent speeds(i’ve Tried many being on Fttp) and Mungi is the best. Had some dropouts before the upgrade (was told to use different UNI-D after cutoff by email) since then it’s been great. Getting 5.3 mbps on utorrent(legal torrents of course!). Getting avg 46/18 during peak evening hours.

    • Glad to hear mate! Thanks for sharing that

  • Pulled the trigger, activation this Monday :)

      Welcome to the family!

  • Any way to tell how the international connections compare for the Sunshine Coast v ABB?

    • +1

I've been getting 40/15 out of 50/20 to a server in Germany/US. Traffic is routed through Melbourne.

  • No love for 25/5 ? Currently paying $45/500GB $o Voip with Telecube. Will cost me extra $15 + Voip to jump into 50/10 to Mungi.

  • Mungi has now stopped there lighting 100 plan.

See below an email I just received:-

I would like to thank you for choosing Mungi Internet and your support since you’ve joined us.

Please be advised that as of the 30th of September 2018, we will be discontinuing the Lightning 100 plan. We’ve ceased new orders of this plan already.

From this date onward, your plan will be downgraded to the Lightning 50 plan at $64.95 per month automatically and will apply to your next billing cycle onwards.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and for the sudden change of your plan. Mungi has gone through substantial changes to our processes and networks which was the result of a major investment into our network and business. Due to the cost of operating multiple networks, difficulties in ensuring compliance and maintaining our high customer service levels, it’s become unsustainable for us as a business to continue offering the Lightning 100 plan.

I can assure you, we’ve explored every avenue possible and this was the only option that was available for us to choose that allows us to continue operating our business and servicing our customers.

Your new plan will allow us to ensure a great network experience especially in relation to domestic and international connectivity, maintain our high levels of customer service and features and most importantly, ensure the future sustainability of our business.

What this means for your service:

On the 30th of September, your plan will automatically be downgraded to Lightning 50 at $64.95 per month
If you decide to leave Mungi, we’ll organise a pro-rated refund of the remainder of your billing cycle
If you downgrade your plan before the 27th of August, we’ll organise a free Static IP to your service, a $5 per month credit for 5 months and a credit of the difference between your old plan

If you wish to downgrade your plan before the 27th of August to take advantage of the free Static IP and the $5 credit per month for 5 months or to cancel your service and get a pro-rated refund, please reply to this email and our team will be able to process this for you.

Please see attached a copy of your new Critical Information Summary with more information regarding your new plan if you decide to continue with Mungì.

Please feel free to reply to this email or send us an SMS at 0427 188 626 if you have any questions or concerns regarding this plan change.

Thank you for your support and patience as we further build our business to ensure its sustainability and as we become a leader in excellent service both network and satisfaction wise.

    Regards,

    • This is a huge bummer! NBN is a complete mess.

      • Yes it's a damn shame!

    • It's dodge. Even didn't get the same $5 discount for 5 months deal here.

      • That's strange. I thought it was a generic email. I've been with them for almost a year. I wonder if that made a difference?

    • lol rip gg

  • Price per value my Telecube $35/month 12/1 1000gb is still the best well not the best but better.

If I can find an unlimited plan below $60/month then I might switch over but for now this plan is all I need.

cant find any 12/1 or 25/10 unlimited plans anywhere and they are all within $5 of a 50/20 unlimited plan.

  • this promo code actually still works…. FYI
