nbn FTTP or HFC 1000/50Mbps - $99/Month for 6 Months (New Customers Only, $129/Month Ongoing) @ Optus

150

If you can't churn onto Superloop's gigabit deal, this looks like the next best offer as far as I can see. Ends up being about $70.67 p/m over 6 months. Compare that to Superloop's gigabit $89 plan and with their $105 cashback, optus beats it by about half a dollar.

But If you can include a referral Superloop ends up better.

Plus $170 cashback @ TopCashback - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/877771

Optus Typical Evening Speed 780/40Mbps.

Supply your own router or..

Pay $0 for our Ultra WiFi Modem Gen 2 when you stay connected for 36 months (normally $306). That's a $8.50/mth discount on the modem for each month you stay connected. If you cancel before 36 months, you'll need to pay out any remaining cost of the modem, e.g. if you cancelled with 12 months remaining, you'd need to pay $102 ($8.50/mth x 12 months remaining).

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2024

      But 90% it doesn’t work

      • If you're not gonna try cashback, might as well just join Buddy Telco for $99 ongoing.

You're better off with Superloop on the 1000/50 for $89/Month.

Resorts To $129 After 6 months.

The NBN really need to double existing speed plans at no expense to combat the 5G push from Telcos.

    • Between data allowances, speed caps and poor infrastructure coverage they don't have anything to worry about for now

    • Next year.

You can also combine this with Flybuys offer (35,000 points which is $170)

    • Damn I thought it could be combined with the existing cashback that would have been a killer deal.

    • That voids Cashback though

Cashback is ineligible if combined with any third party offers from Flybuys and/or any other rewards programs,

Better to get the rewards points than the cashback.
