Woolworths Weekly Specials 9 Feb - 15 Feb

420

114 specials this week from Woolworths, with good deals on bug spray, olive oil, nappies and soft drink. Not as many 50% off specials this week as we're used to. Is it just me, or are prawns always on special. I thought it was post Christmas stock, but I'm guessing they'd be a bit whiffy by now. Have a great week everyone!

  • I have seen error on their catalog page for a few weeks (especially Monday morning) and it's been left for long period until it was fixed. It's good to see catalog without a glitch anyway.

    • check it out now…it giving error/retraction already

    crap specials this week

    • Agree

    • Coles equivalent, some more interesting examples.

Seems they are having a scrap over 'staples' at the mo' - that maybe why other cuts are subdued.

Yeah there's nothing in this catalogue that interests me. I liked the cheap yoghurt of the previous catalogue - now that was a good, healthy deal!

      • Yeah, except both times I went (on different days) they had none :(

This is a pretty bad week for Woolworths with only 3 x 50% specials. The last time they had this few 50% specials was way back in April 2010, but since then there has been on average 10.65 x 50% off specials per week. It should pick back up next week, but worth keeping an eye on!

woolworths specials have gone downhill alot of them are multibuy now..

use to be tim tams $1.99 each all the time, now its 2 for $4.. coles had them for $1.44 each a few weeks back too.

Also what really piss me off is now alot of soft drink can specials are for life, sprite etc which are all Coke brand BUT Coca Cola is excluded! whats up with that, why should it cost more?

    • With multibuys, after purchasing 2 packs of tim tams, the rest will be at the aggregated price, so 3 for $6, 5 for $10.

You should ask coca cola company why they sell coke more expensive than others? As a shop owner, I can tell you that coke company increase price of all their products from this FEB. Same as tiptop, and very soon, you will be charged $2.4 when you use those ATMs on the streets instead of current charge which is $2

wow thanks for the heads up

      • What is your wholesale price for Coke 375ml/600ml?

        • +2

Sadly big supermakets's promotional retail price actually cheaper than cokes' wholesale price to small business
If you see someone bought 20+ cartons of cokes in woolies, then he must be running some convenience store or takeaway shop

And woolies never put coke multibuy special on their online shopping, they are scared that small store will order tons of them cuz woolies only can charge 5dollar for delivery

One place I worked at a couple of years back was $1.50 for 600ml, but you have to also add refigeration and other related incidentals as well.

    • Australia is generally a rip off country. Look at prices of just about anything compared to any other overseas market and you will see this. Too few people in Australian markets control the distribution channels which causes high prices. Companies like Westfield charging high rents don't help either.

  • Time to stock up on toilet paper :D

  • Thanks again

    might get this one

  • Foodworks has some good specials this week: Whiskas 99c, 9-Grain Bread $2, Chicken Chippies $4.29, Coke 4 x 1.25l $7, that's all I can remember for now.

  • Cheaper Sprite/Lift/Fanta 24 x 375 Cans $13.22 in SA @ Coles if you don't want coke

  • These don't seem like very good specials at all…..even the high %age ones.

  • weak effort.

I am really sick of the major grocery stores offering sale prices for multiple purchases. I want one of a particular item but they advertise buy 3 or 5 to save. I don't want 3 or 5 but am compelled to as its a severe ripoff buying one.
