Hi all. Similar to the very popular deal in January, Cashrewards is offering another hot deal for its members. Quite literally $11 profit ($21 cashback minus $10 cost) with access to amaysim’s Unlimited 1GB mobile plan on the house. The critical requirements in order to avail of this cashback are (1) you are a new amaysim customer, (2) activate on or prior to July 31, and (3) you click out via the Cashrewards link in the post. Please read these important guidelines & T&Cs before proceeding:

          @superforever: I activated my free 4x 28 days amaysim yesterday when this one didn't turn up. I don't remember needing a code from the SIM or the letter. I logged into my account and hit activate SIM to go through the process. (I used number porting.)

          I can't remember what I did last time with amaysim but with Kogan 100% sure you need the number on the SIM because I always use an old and difference one I have.

          May try later before 31July I don't need the 1GB anyway.

    Amaysim does not support Cat6 - Carrier Aggregation - Max speed 50mbs download

    I used Speedtest mobile app on a Motorola Moto G5 Plus to test both Belong Mobile and Amaysim in the exact same location. Belong had a 80mbs download whilst Amaysim had a 40mbs download. This suggests that Amaysim does not support Cat 6 - Carrier aggregation.

    The upload though was double the speed on amaysim - 18mbs up compared to 6mbs up for Belong.

      Don't think you can reach that conclusion unless you compare apples with apples.

        I know that there different carriers with different frequencies - that's why I also put in my mobile model which should support carrier aggregation on both carriers.

        hi TA, i didn't received the Sim hence called up Amaysim, they asked me to get a $2 sim from the retail store which i did and they helped me to activate the sim and linked to the number all good. just want to check whether the cashback will be affected due to a new Sim instead of the original Sim? thanks

          amaysim made the terms clear to us (CR) before I posted the deal. If they decline your cashback, this will be the reason. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful than this. Personally, I received mine within 3 business days, and I would have waited until the 31st before making contact with amaysim for a possible cancellation/refund.

          That's what I am planning to do. As many of us already received the SIM for the second deal, it would be a miracle if the SIM card for the first deal would ever turn up :)

          @tightarse: thanks for the reply. the response from amaysim was sim sent and it's passed 7 days, i can either go to retail store to get one or they will send another sim to my which will take up to 6 business days. hence i went to woolies to get a $2 sim….
          just want to confirm, even i purchased the sim via the CW link you posted and i can see the amaysim trakcing on the My Rewards section i will still not be able to get the cashback because i went to get the sim myself?

          @obsid: Hi again obsid. It's not CR's call. amaysim decides what is approved and what isn't. All I can do is direct you to the terms as specified by amaysim for this offer. As I stated earlier, if your transaction is declined down the track, the reason will be clear. Fingers crossed they play ball and approve.

          No, for jraz's case, just activated and linked the received SIM to the account. Happened to many people. Refund will be for those not receiving their SIMs.

    Just got an email saying:

    Hi there,

    With regards to your recent Amaysim order, we’re afraid that Amaysim has rejected the order due to the use of a coupon code that is not attributable to ShopBack. Unfortunately, we do not get any commissions from Amaysim for this order, hence we we will not be able to award Cashback for this purchase. We realise this is a disappointing outcome, we too would have liked to have earned credit for this order. We hope that your next purchase will be credited to ShopBack without an issue.

    Anyone else get this?

      Looks like an error on your behalf because the cashback was through Cashrewards not ShopBack.
