if Huawei can put micro SD card I am sure I will grab two of P20 one for me one for wife.
It has hybrid slot, so you can put one mSD and a SIM the same time.
Can someone enlighten me if I can still use the SD card slot (shared with sim 2 I supposed?) even though it says dual sim on the Huawei Mate 10? I was under the impression that if a phone says dual sim, the firmware would lock the capability of the SD card slot. But I could be wrong.
There are a lot of tutorials/videos on the net that show you how to make dual sim and micro SD card work simultaneously.
It seems to be true for Mate 10 as well .I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere, but it would be good if I can get a straight answer… Thanks!

If it's hybrid, why would it be locked?I can confirm the Mate 10 has a hybrid dual sim slot. So either 2 sims, or 1 sim and micro SD.
The P20, P20 Pro and Mate 10 Pro is only dual sim only, no micro SD
I’ve got my eye on the Huawei Honour GT 10. Now that looks an interesting phone when released.
Shame about the software.

Huawei EMUI is rubbish.
Really bad timing. Just received LG G6 last friday. I had waited for the price to drop below $600 for the Mate 10 for a long time.
