  I'm all for posting deals, but really - 10% off laptops? You can walk into JB Hifi any day of the week and get at least 10 - 20% off a laptop just by asking for a price.

  I see where the OP is coming from, but I'm going to neg this really because it isn't a special bargain of any kind, it's simply putting in writing what they do as a minimum every single day.

  Can we try and stick to the real bargains?

    Agreed. A simple search on staticice will show cheaper prices sold by other retailers on a regular basis!

      They do. I managed to get around 15% off my Mac at DSE and JB Hi Fi with a little talking and negotiation. Especially if you buy extras, such as Applecare, or point out the educational price and say you can get it cheaper through apple directly. (If you're elligible)

      I found DSE was more willing to move though.

  when buying at DSE, always haggle with the extra warrenty
  this is becuase the commission DSE get from the extra warrnety insurer (pretty sure its ace) is huge, which is why they are always willing to give free extra warrenty!

  As has been said already, JB's even with 10% off are still more expensive than the RRP of pretty much anywhere not called Harvey Norman. A simple search on staticice will show this.
