      • How some idiot could neg you, I don't know.

Anybody that follows ozb properly knows this is the split.

  • do you become an E-bay plus member?

  • If I bought something using 20% off last week (not delivered yet) [which is a eBay plus item]
Can I apply for return and buy it again using 25% off?

    • If u did not open, why not

    • Ebay plus offers free returns, so yeah, you could buy with 25% off and return the first order. Or you could possibly ask the store and as if they would be willing to refund the difference. They might opt for that because it would save them shipping another item out.

      • yea, I reckon I will buy another one with the 25% off
then contact the seller whether they can just "replace" the new order with the first one (cancel and refund)
so I save my time in return shipping
they save their cost in shipping new identical item

        • im in the same situation as you - Goodluck!

  • Is it still possible to bypass price jacking?
I'm fairly sure you used to be able to "commit to buy" an item "now", then checkout with the coupon once the sale starts?

    • +2

Most sellers require instant payment for the sale to go through.

10-15 years ago you could commit to buy then have a few days to arrange payment. This was before Paypal became the go-to way to pay. You could still send cheques. But no one takes that form of payment anymore. Everyone expects Paypal now. So there's no reason for a buyer to not pay immediately.

      • Thanks! I hadn't seen it talked about for ages so I assumed not.

        • +1

theoretically, if they have not set the price jacking to be automatic at 10:00AM, you could have it in your cart and be at the checkout screen and at 9:59 AM you enter the promo code. Maybe you can beat the price jacking.

Some sellers do it manually, and some genuine bargains go through early into the promotion before the seller pulls them off the store or raises the price.

    Pays to be eBay plus

  • Hopefully Dell won't jack their prices, looking for a laptop with 1050ti/1060.

  • It's funny someone was saying yesterday on the now-deleted PINSTRIPE thread how Dell wasn't on one of the Ebay deals, and I said give it 3 days there'll be another one, and here we go. Ebay getting pretty predictable nowadays …

  • Just looked at some CPU's I have had my eye on. They were cheaper during the standard 20% off rather than 25% off…. 🤔🤔🤔

  • Sorry I am going to ask for Search Link again please?

  • Boo not site wide. Would love to use this on my listing. Might see what pc byte has

  • any icecream machines?

  • +1

Would bring Mindstorms EV3 sold by hobbywarehouse down to 335 (from 447) with 25% code assuming they don't mess with price - which is close to the ozbargain cheapest price of 325. I paid $357 last week from same seller with 20% code :(

    Panasonic vs Sony vs LG?
I want to buy a 65' HDR OLED TV.

    • +6

A 65 foot TV? That's like 10 basketball players laying side by side.

Do you have a personal cinema?

That's going to be expensive and the discount is capped at $1000, so you won't even get 20% off.

    • +2

Almost the same to be fair.

      Best Value - LG
      Most Features - LG
Best input lag for games - LG
Best motion for sports - Pana
      Best factory calibrated - Pana
      Best upscalling - Sony

All OLED's use the same screen manufactured by LG.

      • I've had horrible experiences with LG's software, even though everything else was great.

Sony seem to be all around good for from my experience, probably the best software.

Panasonic gets my vote though. Superior to Sony in everything but software, and better viewing experience and build quality over LG.
Potentially more laggy for inputs though.

        Sigh, whatever happened to sharp?

        • They blew all their money on that quad pixel nonsense

        • Go for LG OLED TV, when it's on Sale, more value for money. If you want the best get Sony, their image processing engine is the best. Avoid Panasonic because they never ever update their software or apps.

        • @kml22: Sony is cheaper pre sale

Someone please create a thread with clear instructions on how to further save with those woolies gift cards? So the are woolies or ebay gift cards i don't understand. Where do you shop with them? Thanks

    • +6

      Here's clear instructions:

      1. Purchase 5% off Wish e-Gift cards via Cashrewards.
      2. Go into Woolworths and get the physical eBay gift cards off the shelf.
      3. Purchase gift cards with Wish e-Gift cards at the checkout.
      4. Redeem eBay gift cards in the voucher section of the checkout when paying for an item on eBay.
      • Guys, I just found this as it might be useful to those who are thinking of buying multiple gift cards.

“Only eight (8) incentive codes can be accepted per check-out transaction. These codes include eBay Gift Cards and coupons.”

        https://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/redeem-ebay-gift-cards

        • +2

That isn't enforced tho, Max is $2500 per day

        • @Geoff897: They don't stop you adding more codes?

        • @Diji1:
No sure if that's a question or not…

Have you redeemed over 2.5k of gift cards in a day it stops you adding more.

I have and it say you used too many cards come back another day at $2500. 1 coupon and as many giftcards as you like but only $2500.

      • Thanks heaps! :)

      • It would be good if you could buy Wish gift cards using ebay gift cards.

  • +3
    • A few weeks back with the 20% off you could get the 2700x for $379. So they have put prices up because even with the 25% it doesnt get that low.

      • Damn… still u can get 2700x for $370 ( 519 x 0.95 X 0.75) by using discounted wish card method.
        Unless they jack the price

        • I like the way you think.

  • +2

    The prices are already up..

  • +2

sydneytec already hiked their prices maybe 20%

  • I'm looking for Philips Hue bulbs, anyone know if those stores in the list would sell them?

  • +2

VideoPro usually have competitive prices on the Bose QC35 during these sales. 25% might tempt me to pull the trigger!

  • dcxpert is on the list! Yes!

  • Well well well isn't this interesting. Might keep my eBay plus membership the whole year yet.

  • hopefully get good price on KD65X9000F :)

I got the AOC Q3279VWFD8 for $270, but I'm not that sure if I want it anymore (I think i can return it with Ebay Plus membership?)

Ideally after something with 2 hdmi.

    • Mate… Get Officeworks to price match Kogan. I just got one for just over $100

      • +3

i've never been able to get OW to match Kogan. They always say Kogan doesn't sell AU stock and the warranty isn't the same.

        • must've gotten lucky then… Disregard if it's a hassle to head to officeworks and give it a rip.

      • lpoking for around 75 dwal

Corsair Void Pros are the standard I believe. Only gripe people have with them, is they can be a bit big on the head.

      • They seem decent with good reviews, will pop them in the maybe pile

  • Any way to just search these stores? I am looking for a Portable hard drive.

  • Im looking for a deal on Bose QC 35. Any store 25% off?

    • +4

If the sellers keep prices at $460 (99.9% will), both InStyle Hi-Fi and Videopro should have them for $345 Delivered.

      • InStyle Hi-Fi already hiked the prices. Normally they were selling at $415. Now increased to $460. See here

        • +1

Yeah that always happens, $345 is after the 25% :)

        • Yes, i notice that. I nearly pulled the trigger few days ago with the 10% code when it was $415. I missed the end date of the code. Then, i noticed the $460 price increase afterward. :( There is another bose authorised retailer on ebay but the retailer isn't on the list for 20—25% tomorrow.

Looking for a repeat of the Ryda A7III deal. No love there. :(

    • Good luck

    • Still not sure about the GH5 or the A7III
The GH5 video features are very nice and the stabilisation looks better. Just the low light performance and ongoing autofocus issue is a bit concerning. Hoped the A7 would've had 4K60 though…
Of course, A7 is much better for photography. Of course, it's mainly whatever i can get for a good deal now…
Seems like the A7 shortage is stil ongoing

      • From what I've seen with reviews, the Panasonic GH5 is a fantastic camera for video, but as an all around camera isn't as good as the Sony.

  • +6

NOW I see how eBay Aust will beat Amazon Aust. Basically, by making sure that we don't have any money left to spend at Amazon, because we spent all of it already at eBay!

    • +3

just dont run out of money or credit cards

      easy solution

    • max it all out..lol

  • Please Futu! Give me a good deal on the Mavic Air Fly More package!

  • So, does anyone know whats the lowest price for QC 35ii after this deal? I tried few sellers, I found it on allphones, still $375 after 25% off

    • +2

Lowest price is $345, see here

  • is there a way, one can split payments on ebay? For example, I have a visa gift card from NIB and want to use it and the remaining on credit card.
Can someone please advise the process?
    cheers

  • +6

So a 5% site wide disguised as a 25% off. Ok

  • Does anyone have experience on Ausluck? There is iphone 8 space grey 256GB $1,349.

If have stock… and price remain the same
    $1011.75.

    TRS $122.64
    -> $889!

For my overseas sister, that's a good price!?

need a Samsung Galaxy S8+ any deals?

  • Is there any vendor in this lot that I can get a compact assembled gaming PC form delivered. Some one reliable. Looking for 1080 based unit maxed out with all other options in a slightly larger that shuttle case but can still be carried about once in a while.

    Any vendor suggestions appreciated.

    • -1

      Assemble your own

  • +3

    These prices are BS… next!

  • +5

Yeah there's price jacking. Suddnely the Hisense tv from Appliancecentral is suddenly now 1,785.40 when its $1550ish before. I know because I was considering it.

So now it ends up being the same price as when there was a lesser discount. BOOO
