      Depends…. If he means jailbreak as in the old(-ish) dongle method, then it has to be version 3.5 (and then downgraded).

      I'd be surprised if Sony was shipping 160GB models with that version firmware though.

      Pretty safe to assume that this 160GB version would be jailbreak-friendly.

    Most likely you will be able to install CFW on it. Sony only released the new 3.56 firmware to stop jailbreaking just last week.

    I bought one yesterday (last one in stock at the store). It was firmware 3.41 which is breakable. Apparantly upto 3.55 is now anyway so there should be no probs.

    BTW, you no longer need a custom USB dongle. You can do it off any ol USB stick.
