If only I get a dollar for every similar comment like yours for the past 20 years I could be a million air now.
If people in other cities had listened to such comments, they would not be broke now.
I already have a million airs without even getting dollars for similar comments.
In all seriousness, how far do you really think the property market can continue to grow?
The government and governments past have already kicked the can down the road as much as they can to continue property price growth through speculation by introducing policies such as:
Negative gearing
Purchasing property through your SMSF
50% capital gains discount
Stamp duty discounts for first home buyers
Restrictive land release (urban growth boundaries)
Restrictive development zoning
Cheap credit (see banking royal commission for evidence of relaxed lending criteria)
APRA not really regulating banks from stopping people buying PPOR with I/O with no intention to pay back the principal
Allowing parents of children studying in Australia to purchase property
FIRB not heavily regulating international property purchasesThe only lever the government has to keep pushing property prices up is sustaining current levels of immigration to keep feeding the property market.
Does anyone ever pay to attend these expos? They are all sponsored and there are usually so many promo codes about, I'm not sure that anyone that pays to attend has the smarts to enter the property market.
The website states "Event Program will be released closer to the show date", which is from 20 July. I would expect a program to be available by now, or are they waiting to see if there are any / sufficient registrations?
OP states "I am unsure if it is limited so you better hurry! :)". The promo code of "FIRST100" would suggest it is limited, but probably not (see point 1 above).
No bargains in Melbourne real estate. Just wait a few years and it will be much cheaper.
