"For all those who've emailed Selling Out Soon wanting the best deal on this new model….this is the deal you've been waiting for…"

    How many people emailed?

    • Good question actually :) Sorry, I don't know that level of detail. But most importantly: We believe that OzBargainers deserve the best deals. This is a high demand item, mainly because many people have been waiting for it, and the previous model was so popular. Many of our deals are based on what people ask for, if it's our product, viable, and if there is enough stock available to do a deal.

    any deals on cheaper tripods?

    • Yes, do you have a ball head already (meaning you'll need the tripod only - cheapest option) or do you need a kit (tripod with a ballhead)?

You can get this one for $116.48 right now, using the POWERCUT Coupon Code 1

      1. How to apply coupon codes

      • Couple of errors on that page
        - 1.35cm should be 13.5cm
        - the tripod kit links don't go anywhere (check the other links too).

        • Thank you @Lukian - will look into that.
Update: The information seems correct now. Regarding links, they open in a new window, is it your popup blocker?

  • error : "The coupon code you entered couldn't be applied to any items in your order."

    • What is the exact URL of the item in your cart? It seems to be working for other people. Please check your currency is set to AUD and the code you cut and paste doesn't have any spaces in it.

      • got it working, was not working in incognito mode.

        • OK :) no worries

    • OzBargainers deserve the best deals! Things move in cycles as time changes, as you well know given your deals on timepieces :) And that's why we work so hard to bring OzBargain exclusive deals. Some things can sell out more than once, if they can be manufactured again, as I've likely mentioned before. The Sirui 1004X has been manufactured more than once, and is now even cheaper a year later. Selling Out Soon had the best deal then, and has the best deal now too. It's even lower than $128, it's now just $116.48

      • +2

Well, that's even better! So those Members who took your assurance seriously 11 months ago will receive a refund of … umm … $199 - $116.48 = $82.52! Brilliant!

After all, OzBargainers deserve the best deals! Have I got that right?

        • We can agree that OzBargainers deserve the best deals! There may be plausibility to the question if you were offering the same to everyone who bought a Citizen watch from every deal you've ever posted, but since it's obvious you're trolling, I'll just say: Have a great day :)

        • +2

@sellingoutsoon: I don't sell watches - I'm not a Rep and I'm not associated with any vendor, unlike yourself. So let's review the facts …

You advised your fellow OzBargain Members 11 months ago "now's the time" and you were nearly sold out at $199, today you inform it is $116.48 while asserting OzBargainers deserve the best deals! and you'll retain Members' $199 payments without refund.

… have I got that right?

        • @PJC: The main thing is Ozbargainers deserve the best deals. I'm not arguing, everyone who posts deals is making a representation, I think OzBargain is clear on that. As mentioned above, some things are manufactured more than once.

You know, Selling Out Soon provides rather excellent products, and by far the majority (very close to 100%) of buyers are super-happy with the service too. I wish your feelings were based on actual issues, because then we'd be able to help you fix them. If others' experience is anything to go by though, I'm fairly confident you'd have a tremendously positive experience and I'd love you to experience excellent service, and to see we actually do the right thing, as agreed, each time.

Anybody here on OzBargain (who has actually bought from sellingoutsoon.com.au) care to chime in about how they were treated?

        • +3

@sellingoutsoon: God I'm sick of you repeating that mantra over and over again. I think what PJC is trying to point out is your business model seems to be structured around representing items items as being in limited supply when that is in fact not the case. In the world of SellingOutSoon, what does the term "selling out" actually refer to? Certinaly doesn't appear to have anything to do with stock availability.

        • +1

          @sellingoutsoon:
Yes, OzBargainers deserve the best deals! which according to you is $116.48 though your update told us "now's the time" at $199 as they were nearly sold out. Are those purchasers the uncounted emailers wanting the best deal on this new model?

… everyone who posts deals is making a representation, I think OzBargain is clear on that.

That is manifestly incorrect. Thousands of Members post bargains without Association to the vendor.

        • -2

@dm01: I see your point. It is true that some things have less supply than others. It can be on a batch by batch basis (meaning if you want X product, this will likely be the best deal for it during Y time period, and you can get it now, subject to stock depleting (selling out). This may or may not mean it will never come back, which will be determined by future factors, one may surmise. So selling out may mean different things, at different times, to different people. But if we sell out of this (current) deal, because it is a newly released product I'd be willing to bet we can have more in a month or two. Not so for other products, for which I've provided examples in the past. And if you have been waiting for this product, then why wait for a month or more to buy it at a higher price, when by far the lowest price is right now?

        • -3

@PJC: I can see the misunderstanding. Representation in this sense: "A representation is an assertion as to a fact, true on the date the representation is made, that is given to induce another party to enter into a contract or take some other action."

        • +1

          @sellingoutsoon:

… but since it's obvious you're trolling, I'll just say: Have a great day

Alerting fellow Members to reduced prices and trolling are poles apart.

You joined OzBargain as Store Rep, you told fellow OzBargain Members "now's the time" at $199 because they are selling out, you informed the price is now $116.48 while reminding us OzBargainers deserve the best deals! and you offer no refund to $199 purchasers after referring to emailers clamouring for today's offering. That was all your idea so you might as well own it. There is no misunderstanding.

        • +3

@sellingoutsoon: I'm confused. Is now the time or was then the time? or will some other time be the time. Has anyone got the time to explain which time will be the time.

          Ozbargainers deserve the best deals.

        • @PJC: Actually, lower prices serve OzBargainers better. Because a year ago was the best price at that time, and now it is the best price in Australia at this time. If OzBargainers deserve the best deals, maybe they deserve the best price more than once?

        • +1

          @xev:
Well, I have tried making that easier by posting 100+ watches in a deal, but you just don't get it, do you?

Cease everything else immediately and hurtle recklessly towards your wallet to make your purchase this instant - not the next one! Have I got that right OP?

Back to the product at hand, these are awesome travel tripods. They easily fit in carry-on luggage sized bags and are super light, but extend up to almost eye level when opened. They are strong enough to hold most DSLRs with a "normal" sized lens, but don't expect it to hold up a 1DX with a 100-400mm lens at full extension.

It has worked fine for my 5DSR + 24-100mm and now for my A7R3 with 35mm F1.4 for an example.

  • Thank you for your orders OzBargain!

    • As usual, serious buyers are voting with their wallets. The deal runs until tomorrow, pending stock availability.
    • At 5:21 PM AEST on 25.06.18, system shows positive stock, so if you haven't bought yet, I hope you too get to save yourself $50 on this highly anticipated upgrade of our very best selling Sirui tripod.

I look forward to hearing that you got outstanding service.

      Oh, so that's the time!

      Ozbargainers deserve the best deals.

      • +1

When the price reduces any suggestion of reimbursement will be resolutely dismissed as obvious trolling while Store Rep OP assures us Ozbargainers deserve the best deals!

        • +1

Does anybody else know that Ozbargainers deserve the best deals? Now might be the time to tell them.

        • +1

@xev: How many did you buy?

        • +1

@PJC: Sensing the urgency not to waste time & knowing that sellingoutsoon is looking forward to hearing that we got outstanding service but most importantly realizing that OzBargainers deserve the best deals on this high demand item, mainly because many people have been waiting for this highly anticipated upgrade of the very best selling Sirui tripod and I can get it now, subject to stock depleting (selling out), this may or may not mean it will never come back, which will be determined by future factors, one may surmise so selling out may mean different things, at different times, to different people but if they sell out of this (current) deal, because it is a newly released product I'd be willing to bet we can have more in a month or two though not so for other products, for which they've provided examples in the past and if I've have been waiting for this product, then I should wait for a month or more to buy it at a lower price, when by far the lowest price could be at another time.

          I might save $82.52

@xev: I will wait another year cos this product would very likely sell out this year.

        • @sky blu: So this isn't the time?

        • +1

@xev: Yes, this isn't the first time the vendor sells the customers out.

        • @sky blu:
          But you don't understand …

For all those who've emailed Selling Out Soon wanting the best deal on this new model….this is the deal you've been waiting for…

… demand was so tremendous …

I don't know that level of detail. But most importantly: We believe that OzBargainers deserve the best deals.

          … that understandably …

As usual, serious buyers are voting with their wallets. The deal runs until tomorrow, pending stock availability.

… for hours now no OzBargain Member could spare 0.38 seconds to plus-vote this unique opportunity. Isn't that right OP?

        • @sky blu:
Oh come on! When Store Rep OP told fellow OzBargain Members …

          30/06/2017 - 18:04
          DEAL EXTENDED

          Last couple left, [be quick!](https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4838640/redir)

… it was indeed extended, as there is still stock available, albeit with upgraded ball head. How can you be so unappreciative?

        • @xev:

So maybe you'll win the battle for that last dollar, and I hope that makes you feel like a real winner at life, because in so doing, you are incentivising reps to cast their pearls elsewhere, despite our LOVE for OzBargain. Which means it is you who is making all the other OzBargainers lose. This is largely why I didn't do create any SOS deals on OzBargain for a year. Yes, people like you have power. The power to make everyone lose, while adding nothing of value. It's like being a suicide bomber, but without a reason. If no deals, OzBargain suffers in the long run. I would have thought Aussies would encourage other Aussies to provide excellence, especially at more than fair prices like this.

You see? OP loved OzBargain so much, there were no SellingOutSoon deals for a year.

        • +1

@PJC: Hope OP doesn't not do create again.

        • @dm01:
I suppose he was making a representation.

    • +3

"As usual, serious buyers are voting with their wallets. The deal runs until tomorrow, pending stock availability."

Thank god, cause they're certainly not voting with their up-votes.

      • +2

They are so numerous and all far too busy to spend 0.38 seconds doing that!

got one from the seller last week. very nice tripod. using my sony mark III + 24-70GM

  • I'm interested in this - would there be any offer soon?

    • Did you email OP's website about this deal? Apparently many Members did.

  • +2

Must be near time for another update from the OP about how quickly these are selling out and urging interested parties to act now because OzBargainers deserve the best deals!

    • Huh? You haven't purchased yet? Are you kidding? They might run out of stock any year now!

  • +1

I've requested a return and refund on this tripod kit.

Reason is the ball head doesn't tilt the full 90 degrees as stated in the instruction manual. This means you can't use it for portrait framing. It only goes to about 80-85 degrees which is annoying. Definitely not a manufacturing fault - it is a design flaw with the B-00K ball head.

Check out a comparison shot of the Sirui head (left) next to another ball head (right) in full 90 degree tilt: https://imgur.com/a/ZLgS8nQ

Hopefully I'll experience good customer service from SellingOutSoon to make the refund an effortless experience.
