Padre Coffee Free Shipping on All Australian Orders. Espresso Blend 250g $14.00 Delivered

110

I usually want small quantities (250g) of freshly roasted coffee beans delivered to me, as it goes stale quite quickly. However shipping usually ends up being a big cumulative cost with these regular deliveries. Very happy to find this place delivers for free.

It looks like their shipping is always free…

So what is the bargain ?

Thanks for joining OzBargain to let us know though… At best, it belongs in the forums as no bargains are listed…

I believe it's a new offer, they didn't have free shipping previously, so in effect it's a permanent price drop of roughly 40% for a 250g bag.

For people who regularly buy small bags it's a big saving.

I wasn't aware that a deal required a limitation or end date to be a deal. If this is the case happy to remove post (if possible).

Also if anyone is aware of a 250g bag of freshly roasted coffee home delivered less than $14 would like to know..

I wasn't aware that a deal required a limitation or end date to be a deal.

A deal needs to be cheaper than what they normally charge.

        I believe it's a new offer,

What makes you think that? How long have you been using them?

Visited website a few months ago, they charged shipping $9.

          Bet you're fun at parties.

          @thrillho:

          Bet you're not…

Not sure what that has to do with this supposed 'deal' though…

    Thanks OP
Padre is served at my local and to get 250g delivered for $14 bucks is a bargain to me.
I always appreciate when you don’t have to buy a kg to get a good deal.

Veneziano is $13 ish for 350g (free shipping) using subscription (cancel any time). Pablo Rustys using discount code is around $14 for 500g (free shipping) or $18 for single origin, but only for a few deliveries.

I like Padre too, and free shipping is a good deal for 250g like you said.

Coffee cost/value varies depending on price paid to the farmer and many other factors, quality/flavour, so it's really impossible to base a comparison purely on price and weight if you care about flavour. :)

Thanks for the tip on Veneziano. Just signed up to their fortnightly filter subscription. 350g bags are so much better than 250g for me.

    • Hmm I can't see any of those prices anywhere the subscriptions are all $30 for me?

    • got discount code for Pablo Rustys ?

Looks good, might give it a try. Have been buying manna beans, but find the 2kg hard to get through to keep fresh

I've been with Manna for a few years now and I'm on their 1kg deal which is two 500g different blends or single origin each month and I think it's $36 including delivery. Would that be a better deal for you?

*This deal seems ok but not compared to the Manna one I'm on at the moment I think.

Assuming that the blend being sold here is the same as what is being served as the house blend at the Sth Melb store… This is a good price for delivered good quality, small quantity beans.

  • We like to see prices. Bargains have prices.

  • Yeah thanks OP, good price for coffee delivered, especially as they allow you to buy just 250g. You often only get free delivery for a kilo which for me defeats the point of getting fresh coffee as I don’t use enough. Got some, have used their coffee before and it’s great.

  • Price now $15.
