Pretty decent deal considering the high demand of PS3's from the BigW offer(32" Sony Bravia TV Bundle) and I noticed a few people were filling to fork out $300.
Not sure if this is available at all Myer, I was lucky enough to pick up the last one in Bankstown. Definitely worth a check at your local Myer or attempt a price match at other stores.

Is this going to turn out to be like the post about the Toys R Us $200 PS3 deal which was unavailable by the time it was posted.
I rang a local Myer and got them to tell me where stock was based on computers. These stores had them:
Wagga
Bankstown
Belconnon (not sure of spelling)
Hornsby
Macquarie
Cairns
Bendigo (apparently Bendigo had 8)
Try checking them tomorrow as he said the system wasn't 100% accurate as it was old.

Rang my local store, out of the 120GB…However they have the 250GB console with the FIFA world Game, all for $400… is that a good deal?
I got the game for $10 about a month ago from GAME store, and it is not FIFA10 or FIFA11 that comes with the 250GB console, it is the special edition FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010, which what I meant I got too for $10, However, the game retails for around $20 to $30 in most stores. So that makes the console $370, I don't think it a good value for money…

I just went into the Bendigo store and picked one up. There were 6 there when the store opened and you guys were red hot on the phone. All 6 were sold before he completed my transaction. In regards to who got the last one, Aiden had 3 on the floor and then found 3 more out the back. Beware that 2 of them were display models and one looked a bit marked etc !!!!!! Thanks heaps (and 100+ votes from me) to Kelvin161 for the great post. Been waiting a few months to grab a PS3 bargain. I'm off to start gaming :)

Expon.. Ring back and request/demand that he scan the barcode on the 120GB box and ignore the shelf price. Bendigo had it on the shelf at $499 but it scanned at $300.
just tried again, got someone else. seems it is in vain as they are out of stock. He still woudn't tell me if the price was $300 or not…..too much effort I guess
