Great deal for a lightweight tripod - 1kg but maximum load it can take is 2kg.

I have added the metric specs here to save you from the imperial measurements.

Please note this is the AL-420 not to be confused with the AL-420S and AL-420M which are similar but even smaller.

The tripod doesn't seem to review too well, but seems a decent price (the ball head alone is ~$30 at other places). However I am upvoting for a great deal on the 504QF fluid video head. $33 delivered is a bargain.

  I think certain people on Amazon seemed to be loading the tripod with gear close to the 2kg limit and expecting a lot out of a lightweight 1kg aluminium tripod. My gear is quite simple and lightweight so hopefully this works for me - fingers crossed.
