      My thoughts exactly. Shame, because it is a pretty sexy-looking phone. Better off with an LG G6 for this price or less.

        The sd636 will generally perform the same as the g6's sd821 while using less power. If they were both $500 on the dot, this one wins (other than size)

        …but the g6 was also $400 the other day which was a great price.

      On par with a sd821 so it has a decent amount of power. I'd suggest this phone if you're looking for an amazing camera at a semi reasonable price that isn't xiaomi.

    android one is the way to go, once manufactuers release a new model updates seem to slow down otherwise.

    way to go is buy hardware with features you like and let google take care of the software and updates.

    Shame it only has a 3300mAh battery. Given its size, I was hoping for something closer to 4000mAh.

    I've got a Zenfone 4 for 10 months, like the wide angle camera, battery lasts about a day. I still prefer my Redmi Note 3 in almost all other ways.
    The most annoying thing is the 2.5D screen, cant find a proper fit glass screen protector. I tried 6 different ones and gave up!

      Yep, have tried also on 5 different model phones with mixed success going all the way back from a Nexus 4 to latest phones.

      Very hit and miss, especially bad if you waited a month for delivery from China and does not fit properly leaving those annoying white lines on

      vertical edges, sometimes glue is only around edges leaving the middle hollow and bad feel or even worse, touchscreen not responding to

      touch the way it should.
