  • Is harman kardon avr 171s better?

This is 7.2ch and personally I would rather purchase the Denon AVR-X2400H for €413 (A$640) delivered from Amazon Germany over the HK. Any thoughts from OZB aficionados?

      • Just looking at it and the back panel, the 2400 is clearly in another league…. I'd just pay the difference because I feel like I couldnt live with the 540 but the 2400 seems to be pretty complete and you'd probably have to spend over $1k to get substantially better.

I have the denon 1300 … it's a very nice amp if you want internet radio, spotify, etc ….

2400 is what I should have got, more power same features

this 540 deal is a lot of amp if you live in a smaller place, heck its 5.2, who has has room for 7.2 speakers ????

    • Bit of a toss up.

      Quality vs features.

      The Denon is a bargain.

if you have the coin go 2400 …. once amazon geo blocks you wont be getting it from germany anymore and it be Gerry prices ….. $900+

    • The HKs are really featureless, ive got a 4+yr old 151. The remote is also terrible

      • Thanks, actually which brand is better for music.

  • Must be Ozbargained?

    • Just add item to cart and proceed to checkout. You can remove item before payment.

  • Riddle me this, how can a tiny headphone amplifier and DAC cost $600 and a full on receiver dolby this and that cost less than $400?
