Was looking for a purifier to help ease the dog smell around the house.
Have been looking around and found that this unit is really cheap as oppose to officeworks and other major outlets.
I decided to buy this through Harvey Norman so I can combine it with the Amex spend $350 get $50 back.
Used it for 6 hours - not sure yet - I'll find out tonight when friends come over.
Unit is quite and not noticeable which is good.
Personally I thought this was a better deal and bought this recently. Has 4 levels of purification (carbon, HEPA, UV, TIO2).
Decent airflow and looks good.

edrift, I ordered one after your recommendation on ozbargain, but then cancelled it, because I believe they are using cheap-ass Chinese sub-standard technology in the TIO2 cleaning, which creates more formaldehyde coming out than going in. I ended up getting this Homedics Pet Plus model, from Gumtree for a good price, but if I hadn't I would have got it from Officeworks.
Why not the Xiaomi one for half the price ?

Didn't really research on across other models. But I like it so far. Is it worth it - maybe not if you compare with xiaomi but I actually was in need of one and this appeared to be a recommend purifier that I could get my hands on immediately.
Bought the earlier model couple years ago from costco for $199. Didn’t use it much and failed without much reason after about 3years, couldn’t get it revived and ended up in the bin.
Couldnt replace the fan?
First the motor got blocked so I oiled it and it worked for few days but then stopped again completely. The motor didn’t turn again. Not sure if it was a lemon or a common issue the warranty was for 1y only but used it only a couple of times during those 3 years.
