going by the stats you're probably going to need an ok amp, like something in the 25-50-60w class
these are good speakers and would probably outstrip the quality of most PC setups
I can power it with a Panasonic Blu-ray surround system with a mixer. Still sound very good to me.
Will look into good amp when some good deal comes up here.

I owned a pair Infinity bookshelf many many year ago love it very much. Been trying out at JB and wait for bargain to come up.
Not quite being an audio-file but having recently heard very good things about the 'Elac' speakers can I assume these wouldn't compare?
Any experts out there can answer?
You may have to be more specific - some Elac speakers have an RRP of over $20,000 which I'm pretty sure these wouldn't be comparable.
