They probably start making them when you order them

    • LOL

    • JB delivery time for me is more like 10 days.

    • -5

Well they are just manufacturing a bunch of counterfeits to order. It takes time to manufacture counterfeits. Look at the pic of the front and back of package too it's all in Chinese.

      • +5

Why in God's name do you think having Chinese writing makes it counterfeit? And like I said, orders arrive in about 10 days or me even though the ETA is 40.

      • Maybe because it's coming from China…. SanDisk China…. where it's made…. and where JD is from.

Do you ever checked how many house hold items in your house are made in China? Are they all fake? I bet they are more than 50% in your house at least.

        • -4

No. But Sandisk SD cards are a major target of counterfeiting in Asian countries.

        • @hollykryten:
Do you have evidence to prove this is fake?

    • +2

Do you read Chinese or you just think a Chinese brand having a package in Chinese must be fake?

      • -7

Just think about it. Cheap very low below normal price stock from China with Chinese written all over it the package. Chances are very high of it being counterfeit.

        • +2

Below the price you pay in Western countries intead of a country with 3 billion people where the product is manufactured you mean.

        • +1

It’s not that cheap though. Check Amazons current and historical prices.

          https://camelcamelcamel.com/Sandisk-Ultra-128GB-Micro-Adapte…

It’s been under $29USD on Amazon in the past and just this month it was $32USD for a bit which is basically this price.

    • Anything's possible but JB are a division of JD which is listed on Nasdaq. If this is for China they've listed them on their shop front for the West.

I've had no issues with the store with two transactions I think.

don't fool yourselves … look at the picture of the back of the package … it's totally in Chinese.

Not sure why you think that makes it counterfeit.

      • -6

Well don't blame any one when you receive it only to find out that it's counterfeit. You were pre warned.

Also just because a store in China that is owned by another company that's listed on Nasdaq doesn't mean that they aren't even accidentally selling counterfeits.

Joybuy's market value is more than ten times that of ebay and about half of Amazon's. Joybuy only sell genuine goods. Although Joybuy has been operating at a loss, its main mode of operation is to make further money through continuous financing to attract cash flow. The price of this TF card may even reach around AUD 30 sometimes in China.

Going by the delivery time I suspect that this is some way of getting around PayPal refunds.

    • Couldn't people just put in an item not received claim before then?. I mean if it's not shipped out for a long time then they hadn't received their goods.

    • Or maybe because it's such a small item they're using snail mail like China post? Wouldn't make sense to put it in a large box and EMS it over.

Purchased evo + microsd in the past and tested to be genuine. Delivery took 2 weeks. If any issues PayPal is your friend.

    • -2

How did you test it to be genuine. You you do a verification with Samsung?.

Most of the things you buy or eat will have components or ingredients from China, as long as it's good quality, value for money then who cares !
    Bought one, thanks OP !

    • as long as it's good quality, value for money

Exactly. The problem is you can't tell that from just a picture. Associate risk.

I like the logic of people who assume that a product made in china, sold by chinese company, posted from china. and created in a country with a market of >1,350,000,000 people is most likely counterfeit.

china - population of over 1,350,000,000 people. they might sell a few of these cards there. hence they might ad a little bit of chinese to the packaging.

Or cards made by companies that we haven't heard of are therefore fake. ignorance = product must be fake.
