I ordered 6 and they made them right there and then. She literally kept poking them to cook faster :(
I couldn't eat for ages after cause it was straight out of oil. She tossed like 50-100g of sugar and cinnamon in too. Jesus if I were a kid still…. :P
I was in a woolies store once early and they just made them in store. Asked her to package up 6 for me. They were on special for a $1. Happened to go back a few times that week at the same time. 6 hot donuts for a $1 was awesome. I now avoid going to that store at that time as its not good for the health.

Had a few for first time in 5 years, they were still nice, but she overloaded it with sugar.

Better off getting Krispy Kremes or Daniel's Donuts IMO. These taste like they're from the supermarket and they aren't even cheap.
To be fair, I think the supermarkets did a good job copying donut king. In the aussie sized donuts I've eaten a lot worse…

Get them made fresh or you're wasting your time.
Its probably the best food that shows how fresh is best.
If its not fresh and hot im a little sad at something that was great and is now just something that is nice.
